I'm very very happy to find one native English teacher who speaks only English because to progress I know that I have to listen , to speak and to reflect in English.
    Thank you Miss Catharine , you're perfect❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Katherine. I am curios about why I understant you easily, but it is a little bit hard to understand someone else in London streets. They all speak same pace and accent with you. Your english is clear.

For "Once in a blue moon" in Italy we have the equivalent "Una volta ogni morte di Papa" that literally means "Once every time a Pope dies". Quite colourful, isn't it?

We don't have this beautiful idiom 'once in a blue moon' in French, Katherine. But we have many others humorous, colorful and popular ones to mean in fact 'almost never' or downright 'never'. You may know some of them such as for example:
'Tous les 36 du mois' (All the 36ths of the month ;-)
'La semaine des quatre jeudis' (The week of the four thursdays ;-)
'à la Saint Glinglin !' (At/On the Saint GlinGlin! ;-)
'Quand les poules auront des dents' (when hens have/grow teeth = when pigs fly/when hell freezes over/when (until the) cows come home)
'Aux calendes grecques' ( At/to/on the Greek calends ;-)
    Bisous 🌹🙏

In a word , I appreciate all your efforts dear Katherine , and just seeing you every Friday is a blessing indeed . God bless you ❤😊
