this was fun! i love that you reacted to this! I definitely would love to see more reaction vidoes! Also, as a guy, i love playing as a girl because they are so beautiful to look at
The answer is simple for me and probably most other dudes, we rather stare at female T & A . If its first person and/or story based single player I choose male. I its third person and I don't care about story choices changing I choose female.
Women are just generally more ascetically pleasing to look at. That being said, most of the time when I create a character in an RPG, I usually play as a male that I try to make look as much like me as possible, and basically try to insert myself into the game world. My character in Elden Ring actually creeps my friend out because I was able to get him looking so similar to me that it creates kind of an uncanny valley effect for him lol. But then if I make a second character, because I'm lonely, I'll typically make sort of a dream girl. Like an ideal woman whom I'd want to go out with if she existed irl.
women have better physics.... hence plays as a girl character. bad ass females beating up massive monsters is also just to good. when your character is a guy it just feels like another monday. Yes the outfits are also a massive reason. the one character from the first descendant that's a rabbit, yea she's fire. love your voice nyana. adorbs overload
Stop being so adorable, Nyana! You're going to make me explode from a cuteness overload! 😍💛🐱🍌 Obviously that's just an expression. I'm not really going to-💥
Idk i just love girls. And in a video game i get to pretend to be one. I played the female evior in Assassin's creed Valhalla and she is fully covered and looks like a brute.
Looks if you are gonna be stuck staring at the ass of a character for somewhere between 1-1000 hours you might as well play one that you like looking at. Also while it isnt quite as prevalent as men playing female characters from my experience women tend to play male characters more often than female.
Aesthetics are usually the main factor in my choice cause realistically with a few notable exceptions the gender doesn't affect actual gameplay. I do wish gender choices affected gameplay more often.
I definitely play for clothing/armour options. It looks way better. I do sometimes enjoy playing as some super tanky bulky guy but not as much as girl characters. They also often made to move more agile and faster which feels better to play. This video is kind of funny. The guy is like: this and this might be the reason but lets put a real nail in the coffin. Then goes: there is not a definitive reason why guys play as girls so there is no answer.
Not sure with what to think about the vod you reacted to, kinda felt offended but it did also have some good points. That aside, personally, when I play female and/or feminine characters, I do so cause they tend to be more aesthetically more pleasing and have more customization options indeed. Male characters tend to be more restrictive as well as burly, albeit there are those that tend to use more slender figures as well but female characters still are better pretty much. Now, other than the two up top, other main reasons I have why I might prefer the other gender to play as, cause they tend to have cuter and more beautiful styles. Such designs tend to work better on them than the other gender, depends. Oh and I guess the voice as well, though mainly just a plus really and most games I played as had a silent player character, so, don't really go out my way just cause of that. Not to my knowledge anyways? But yeah, a nice voice to listen to whilst playing the game, if not something that can really pull you into the immersion, is also one of the reason up there, yup.
@1:16 Not really, because "spanking the pony" and gaming at the same time is not a good idea. 😘 @2:21 Yes, but guys aren't usually into fashion and customizations aren't that important if the immersion is broken. 🤔
It depends for me. When i was starting honkai Star rail i wanted to choose Caelus. But then i remembered something my cousin told me. Im genshin the female traveller (lumine) is stronger than the male traveller (aether). Not wanting to make that mistake i chose the female trailblazer (stelle) When i came to pokemon, in heartgold i choose male character but when sword&shield, scarlet and violet and legends arceus plus brilliant diamond and shining pearl. Went with a girl character. Just a change of pace. In monster hunter i made 2 separate characters both with different genders. One girl, one a guy.
I think I started choosing female characters at first for certain games because of the backstories I make up for them also the other reason is NONE OF YUR BIZNISSSSSSS
Why do I play female characters?. 1: if you are going to look at the back of a model for hours, better be a cute anime girl. 2. Female characters have a wide range of clothes, and even if the clothes affect both genders, the male character is always restricted by being a tuxedo or an armor. 3. Female characters are cuter. - Reaction Idea. "Omega mart ad compilation"
As a guy i only play as a girl to troll others (competitive games), otherwise i play as a male character in games like Elden Ring because they moan when they die amd its funny. Men moaning = funny Women moaning = sus
I don't like playing as a female characters to the point I can skip a good game if there's no male characters avaliable. I like to imagine the character being myself, make them look as me, alwas make dicisions I'd make in their place, etc.
I don't understand why it is good or bad playing as a certain character or gender. I play as whoever I Like, it could be how the model looks or the voice acting or just the powers of the character. Judging someone because they like playing as a character of x gender is foolish.
Because staring at male characters' behind makes us gay.
7:48 is that what i think it is? Nyana got no idea, it just flew over her head. She too innocent bless her pure, little soul 😇
Funniest ones ive seen are the giant bear men with voices that shake your headset playing as the tiniest lolis
I personally play as men because I personify myself as the man i play as.
self inserting is cringe
@@nickkorkodylas5005 depends. If its a work about a character, yes. If its a solo player video game then no.

Everyone knows it's twice as manly with two guys instead of a guy and a girl. Only real giga chads play as chad characters.
