I stick to fresh water, but really enjoy watching and interacting with all fellow keepers and seeing peoples creative and beautiful work. I started with 5 goldfish and a water bottle filter I learned to make here. Im up to 3 tanks and can't say enough how much you have helped me to grow in the hobby. Thank you for everything you do for us, we appreciate all your content.....(and sneaking us freshwater junkies a tank in at the end.) 😉
The king of DIY The freshwater plants was one of my favorite tanks. But where are the scenes you told me about? You know, the ones where you were laying down on the floor on top of the bear rug next to the chimney. Ha! you got me on that one. It was surreal meeting you Joey! Thanks for coming to Denver and being so down to earth. My girlfriend and I left with a huge smile after meeting you. Im wondering if you even remember who I am. If not it's alright! You saw tons of faces lol. Anyways, thanks for coming!
Doing videos on these things is great Joey, but promoting all these companies, interacting with people, sharing your passion is what makes your channel special. And just look how happy you made Abrianna when you told her that she will be in one of your videos. You are a really good guy and should be proud of what you are doing.
Just like my first freshwater aquarium my first salt water aquarium infected my with a love and an appreciation for the fish keeping hobby. Learning new things, gaining experience and being rewarded with healthy and vibrant fish is simply something that has few equals. I appreciate your videos. They have helped to be more cost effective and enjoy the hobby even more. Thank you for the videos you post.
I definitely recommend the euphyllia group (frogspawn, octospawn, hammers, and torches), and mushrooms. It's not as hard as people say! I have a 75 gallon mixed reef and still use a canister filter, and no protein skimmer yet for close to two years.
Reef tanks are awesome, you should totally start one! I was 100% Planted, then eventually had a fresh and a salty and finally im converted to all salt water.. you would love it!

bro.... corals are the best part of sw! I prefer soft corals, and love the way they wake up and come to life when you drop a piece of food in the tank. they're like fish that are wearing cement shoes :)
at your talk when you were talking about the pin method, those who were in attendance will always your fail talking about "fill the seam in" if you were there, you'd know what im talking about haha. good video Joey! it was great to meet you

Haha, I always knew you had it in you. I made the switch almost 20 years ago to saltwater. I love the crazy invertebrates that you find in the salt water and the Corals are endless.

I've got ten tanks and 8 years of experience, and just at the beginning of last year did I start with saltwater, and let me say, I like it a lot better than freshwater. And as I say," If you can keep the Levels right, you don't have to fight." 😂

Woot my favourite fish keeper hit by the salt bug. We just ventured into this around Xmas. Lots of DIY! Loving every second but the heavy planted 55 freshie is still going (for now!)
Happened to my wife and I too. Kept a freshwater tank for 12 years and always loved saltwater. Changed over to a saltwater tank about 5 months ago and now I am hooked. Agree that WWC is the bomb when it comes to beautiful corals that are EXACTLY what you pay for. Ordered from aquariumdepot once and will never buy another coral from them.

The fishes were really striking! Can anyone identify those? They kinda look like short tail guppies...
So, did the light on that freshwater tank totally change the feel of that tank when the hue changed or is it just me?
