Yes, IPL is a great prep for the T20 format. I would say most of the teams in the Semis were at some stage involved in IPL and had the same prep as the Indian team members under the same conditions. So, if England or any other team comes up with some weird excuses like the usual ones of Vaughan, it is rubbish. Reverse sweep was the downfall of England with set batters, including Butler, Brook. Also, one can clearly see how three of the Semifinalists have some kind of deep involvement with India, whether in the form of sponsorship or help. These are SA (SA20) and Afghanistan other than Indian team itself. So, India's involvement in world cricket is thus even further highlighted. It was India's team effort that got them here. This time, there are many heroes in the Indian camp, unlike before.
As a sa fan, for me sky is the best t20 batsman in the world, He is a 360 player.
It's unfathomable for me that he can't replicate it in ODI. I mean he can't seem to bat in ODI at all why?
Perhaps they should have brought Jaiswal or Sanju for Dube in Aus and Eng match, now it may be too late. If Jaiswal is picked then Kohli will play at 3 and if Samson is selected he will play at Dube spot in the middle order. Virat then can play his normal game we know he will accelerate towards end of his innings and other batters can play freely around Virat.
Don't know who would be best for Barbados pitch: Dube, Samson or Jaiswal. Rohit and Rahul have a lot of thinking to do. All the best team India. Whatever be the result we support and stand by you. Love and Respect to everybody from India.

Hi kid. India played Day matches to have a PRIME TIME telecast for a 1+ billion population. Fan entertainment and Ad revenues matter a lot. This is normal when US does in Olympics held in China or Australia. For prime viewing of US, many events are held at 6 AM at the sites. 😂
