Mine arrived earlier this week and I love it. Replicade does such a great job with these things and they know exactly who they're marketing to.

@@WagnersTechTalk Thanks! The thing is about these original arcade ROMs, we always forget that they were built to attract you, take a quarter, kill you fast and take another quarter. After playing games on consoles, which are meant for you to keep playing for many hours after purchase, you forget how hard the games from these original arcade ROMs truly are :) I'm dead in Missle Command by board 3 or 4.
Yes indeed! One of the worst at that is the Don Bluth series (Dragon's Lair and Space Ace). Both innovative games for the time, but at $0.50 per game, it was one I never got to play for long as a kid. Same here with Missile Command, I don't last very long at all. I do play it on my Legends Ultimate from time to time (included with the machine). If you haven't heard of the GRS Build-A-Cade, may want to check it out: wagnerstechtalk.com/grs-bacv1 . It's essentially a 1:6 scale vertically oriented Multicade, I really like that machine too.
@@WagnersTechTalk hahaha. Dragon's Lair was my fav as a kid. I have a full-sized version of that and Space Ace. It was definitely created to eat quarters and it did, but I mastered both games as a kid feeding my allowances into both machines :)

@@WagnersTechTalk Its a bit exaggerated but it works. This is my first Replicade cabinet, so I cannot compare, but it looks fine to me.
Yeah, that was my thought as well. I love the concept, think if they tweak it down a little it could be perfect. Maybe a little tint and soften the curvature a bit. Still, impressive.
yep. thats about how far i usually used to get on that machine in the arcade.. still waiting for my Dragons Liar from them to arrive this year and i am hoping they make the secondary monitor for it like they were planning to do.

Mine arrived a couple days ago. I think its great! I was worried about the display. I thought it might have been damaged up at the top by the high score. I see yours has the same sort of bubble there. I wrote to New Wave Toys about it. They responded the next day saying that it was due to the convex display and not a defect. I think that could be improved upon maybe. Otherwise I am very happy with this!
I noticed if you turn the backlight off in the settings, it's less noticeable. Not sure if that will clear it up for you, but thought I'd mention it. I do like this machine a lot, but I can see some tweaks to the CRT Fx that I think might perfect it.

Mr. Wagner I have a question regarding the bitpixel LCD contest, I've made my own 30 second movie. Can I just plug it into the bit pixel LCD device and play it?
