Extremely grateful for every Gurkha that fights with us!
No Gurkhas are all for the money. They are cowards..if they are brave they must serve NEPAL. defend their people not other people.
@@reneabrea4123 As cowardly as someone who defames others from the protection of the internet?
@@samhavoc1066true, I’ve been told some stories by retired Gurkhas that make me who was a doorman for 23 years cringe.
Rounds flying above heads to seeing their mates taken out as an ammo dump went up. Certainly not cowards and that was only in Serbia 😱🇳🇵🥰
Well done gentleman and I wish you all the luck for the future, this country is so proud to have you all.
Maximum respect to all that passed out. World's best and feared
I've spent a fair amount of time in the Nepal highlands with one of the tribes that produced the Gurkhas. It's amazing to see them run at full pace up incredibly steep hillsides at 2,500 meters as if it were nice flat terrain.
If you have ever seen where these guys have come from, you will understand that what they have achieved is indeed, truly incredible!!! Well done to all of them.
I have 👍 I told the guard on the camp gates to tell them how proud we are of them in Britain.
I’ve also seen the mountains they run up, all I’m going to say is in the UK our hills and mountains are like a toy set compared to Nepal. They are just so steep and tall.
@stever456 nice one mate. I was in Kathmandu in 1986 with REME supporting the Royal Nepalese Army fix some vehicles. Proper rugged.
@@malcpaul996 I went in February and stayed with a retired Gurkha and his family in Kathmandu before going to Bandipur and Pokhara.
I only got to know them through working at Rolls Royce in Derby as they are on security. Chatted learnt and spoke some Nepali for what around 2 years. So the guy I stayed with (was in Gurkha engineers) I only knew through work. They must have all spoken together as when I was speaking to another who was the guy teaching me Nepali the most even he said well we can tell your a good guy when I said how honoured I was to be staying at a Gurkhas house in Nepal.
I was going to hire an off road bike in KTM but crapped myself when I saw the driving there. Even as an ex supermoto racer no way did I want to ride in that traffic 😂😂
But I quickly got used to it and could cross the road faster than Durga, he laughed about that.
But I hired an off road bike in Pokhara, and yes the roads can be so rough it was a crazy fun time that was dangerous too, the road up-to the World Peace Pagoda has no barriers and is so steep and twisty and in places like an off road dirt track 😂
Respect to them all. They are all clean, have some colourful houses and amazing food.
Yet some clean clothes in streams, I felt so safe no one ever bothered me or messed about with my motorbike or helmet I would leave on the handle bars either in or around Pokhara.
It was great, they didn’t even watch me the only white guy riding and walking about in their areas. I didn’t really go to tourist places only local ones as I can speak some Nepali 👍
They made me happy and I made them happy being able to chat and order food in Nepali and tell them I don’t want it to spicy as I’m white 😂👍🇳🇵
There is a pot hole on the main road around Phewa Lake, it’s north near a bus park just after Bishnu Homestay (which is amazing). It makes our pot holes look like small indentations, this one you can fall in to. How no one crashes into it at night I don’t know.
Amazing country amazing people.
It’s a shame I didn’t have longer in Nepal, the owner of the Mount Everest restaurant in Derby wanted to take me to his village to see but there wasn’t the time. That’s the thing isn’t it? You speak to one and before you know they all know of you and want to chat and ask if you liked Nepal and invite you to their homes.
Check out my review of Derby Rickshaw Indian street food on Google.
I went there recently and the head chef who is Nepali knew who I was but I didn’t know him, he is in the same family of those I stayed with in Nepal and had seen pictures of me in Kathmandu! He’s asked me to come to his house one day for a Nepali meal, it’s like you join a huge family where everyone is welcome.
I’ve told all the guys I know they are special and should be respected and they do like it. Just love them all amazing guys, years ago they were elite fighters. Now relaxing and teaching us anything we want to know about Nepal and their culture. I get messages now and again inviting me and saying their wives are cooking me some food and to come and pick it up.
Ma Nepal miss garchu 🇳🇵🇬🇧🥰
My dad served with the Gurkhas he said they are the most brilliant nicest bravest men he's ever served with. He was proud to serve along side them.
Superhuman soldiers. Thank god they are on our side 🙌🏻

Doubly hard bastards 💪
I wish nothing but the best to each and every one of them and their families.
Thank you for your selfless service. 🙏
Best of luck to the Gurkhas, Britain is grateful for your service.
We are so Lucky to have these Brave Men as part of our Armed Forces. God Bless you Lads and Best wishes to you all 🙏
True warriors and thankful they are on our side.
Fierce warriors, skilled soldiers and absolute gentlemen. Worked with the Ghurkas from time to time when in the Royal Engineers. Had one on our RE Diver course and no matter how exhausting it got, he just smiled!
Ayo Gorkhali !!
GURKHAS are for money and they the true traitors of Nepal
If they are brave, they must fight for Nepal, serve Nepal and their people!
They are the best soldiers. Never cause any issues when they go off base. Worked with them in Brecon they were enemy force. Truly the best thing that could have ever happened to the British Army. Everyone of those boys compete like crazy for a spot in the British Army. Will always have massive respect for them, they are tough as nails.
Well done and congratulations lads
I love these humble and formidable warriors, massive respect 🙏
Let's have more of these good-hearted people and others that align with our British values and appreciate being here and deport any extremists in our country who don't - period!
🇬🇧 🇳🇵
So glad they are on outside. Second to none....
Proud to have had contact with these incredible soldiers!
They are justly proud - and they make us proud here in the UK.
I hope the Gurkhas know just how much they're absolutely LOVED in Britain
Every soldier and every one of there family members deserve full rights and life in England
We British love the Gurkhas and appreciate what they do for us. They are the kind of migrants that are good for a country.
@@reneabrea4123 You are a real piece of work... the kind that sticks to a person's shoe.
They also love us and our country. My older retired Gurkha friends love Britain and are so proud to be British I can tell you first hand. When they have their community meetings where they wear traditional dress, sing and dance they always play the national anthem.
Even at their family weddings they invite members of the armed forces and I’m on about us white people.
Because of the Gurkhas in Derby I’ve been to Nepal and can speak a little. What other people invite you to stay in their house with their family in Kathmandu eh? They treated me better than family and looked after me.
Yes it’s hard in Nepal we have it easy here in the UK I can tell you. So there is an element of doing better for them and families, but at what cost? Potentially their own life as I know from stories fighting for us many have paid the ultimate price.
It can also be hard maintaining what everyone expects a Gurkha to be as those before them have lived up to be.
Thulo respect Gurkhaharu ko laggi 👍🇳🇵🇬🇧
The nicest bunch of guys I have ever met.
Awesome soldiers. My Dad always said they were the best. He was a Coldstream!
Second to None!
Top lads.
The Gurkhas , I used to work for a while in a pub opposite the entrance to the RMA Sandhurst. The Gurkhas on officer training were never less than gentlemen, they could have been plastered but always gentlemen. Around the town , smart and considerate . I have and will always have a profound respect for the Gurkha.
CONGRATULATIONS TO GURKHA RECRUITS
Brave, tough, strong, immaculate, perfect soldiers. Well done and bravo to all on parade.
Love these gents the more of these fellas we can have in the British military the better
Thank you 🙏
Good effort Thankyou
Ayo Gurkhali. Smile and warrior
Awesome folks
Alright for Gurkha troops 🎉❤.
They should all get automatic British citizenship
AYO GURKHALI!!
Great men ,warriors ,true gentlemen
Lovely people and great soldiers
Great Stuff, we certainly don't have enough Gurkhas, keep up the good work Chaps!👍
Good luck and thank you all
Amazing lads. Top notch.
No one can do anything to my brothers of uk until our gorkha soldiers are with u 🇳🇵💪🏻
Some think the SAS are the most elite military unit in the world but it's the Gurkha's
Top blokes, nice one gents
Superb soldiers ! Good luck to you all !
Good luck fella's
People say the British are Racist, nope nope nope,we all genuinely love these Warriors
So why are the signaller and sapper called Rifleman in this video? Not all gurkhas are riflemen, especially those clearly not wearing RGR uniforms.
Now these brave young men are the immigrants that we welcome with open arms.
An immaculate turn out gentleman.
British MOD should Treble Gurkha (limited British homegrown) recruits to increase Soldiers to prepare for NATO Russia war that could break out anytime.
Toughest soldiers on the planet
I've heard that they don't get treat well enough in UK. Is it true ??
Legends
Best turned out troops in the British Army.
The household division might have something to say to your comment. THEY ARE the best turned out troops in Europe, possibly the world!
The edited bit : Even though they are NOT part of the Army the Royal marines are better turned out.
@@thetruthhurts7675 Agreed.... If this person would have said they're one of the best fighting force in the British Army, I would have agreed.
@@thetruthhurts7675 They used to be. I recently saw some video of a recent trooping the colours parade, and it was quite disappointing to see the standard on display.
SEND THEM IN!
I’ll bet none of them are going to miss Catterick 😂

The army should instigate some of the values of the Ghurka training and decency into their other regiments.
From another era.
Sabailaii thulo badai chha!
Gurkhaharu ramro manche hun.
I wonder how many of these will go on to befriend white UK people like ones before them did with me and teach about Nepal? Most I think.
Nepal is a tough place to live, no wonder the British couldn’t win fights there all those years ago 😂
You are all now British, and as a white male im so happy for you to join your one of us now and we are better of for it. 🇳🇵🇬🇧
Fabulous
They're so exhausted from training they're passing out!!! 😁😁😁
As the Brits would say, "Would like to see these lads ave a go at the ruskies". don't expect it would be much of a fight on the ruZZian's part.
The Ghurkas just need to cut off the Russians' supply of vodka and they'd surrender!
Hope they are paid equally as their british colleagues after years of exploiting their bravery.
Understood. Somewhere though, I recall it being said that the difference in wages was due to the
living standard/cost in their homeland and how the wages were adjusted so as not to cause
envy and friction between them, their families and those resident Nepalis at home. Who knows...
but they are worth whatever they are paid IMHO.
@@songsmith31a Many wanted immigrate to Britain but were denied, a WW2 VC gurkha wanted to immigrate on health grounds but was denied but fought long hard legal battle to enter the country. His grandson was also awarded CGC in 2013 for actions in Afghanistan.
Smartest of the smart !
they’re better soldiers than Britain deserves, anyone who fights for Britain deserves citizenship and a pension because most would never or could never fight to defend their country
Top men
Politicians should not be allowed to inspect soldiers.
Some are quite tall for a Gurkha 😅😂 let's face it, due to better economic factors the height of an average Gurkha has become taller than the past years.Commented by myself a northeast Indian Naga. Durga Naga ki jai , Ayo Naga infantry Regiment ki jai !!

Britain uses them Nepali as cannon fodder
Free housing and citizenship for these heroes please.
Andrew Morrison. Show a little respect and learn how to at least tie a tie. Disgraceful.
Glad to have these guys to fight WW3 and fly the rainbow flag for us.
I'd rather live a quiet, simple life in the Himalayas.... signed an Afghan Vet
I really cant imagine LGBTQ+ GURKAS CAN YOU
The Gurkhas are excellent…, but are is the UK still using young men from another nation.. & ripping them on any reasonably expected citizenship…
You have no idea about the Brigade of Ghurkas, their part in UK Forces, their history and tradition, have you?
@@cycleSCUBA I have a reasonably good knowledge of such and how the UK government treat the Gurkha when they retire…
But I am find out is that you certainty appear to be arrogant tool… in your assuming . Instead of asking me of my knowledge/ context… as your first brain fart
The arrangement seems eminently satisfactory to both parties across many years - and is hardly
compulsory for young Nepali men justly proud of their own origins.
You gurkhas are nepali, why serving british people? You are for money only, if you are a true fighter you must serve your countrt NEPAL.
They should be all given uk citizenship
They can get British citizenship after the retirement if they wish to 🇬🇧
