Perfect vid. Just replaced the bulb in my 2017 Jeep Patriot with your help. Those black pins had an attitude coming out, had to use pliers and extra patience lol 😊. Thanx Omar☺️🇨🇦🥞
My three daughters all have learned to work on cars and even do electrical and plumbing around the house like my father taught me. It’s not difficult, it just takes someone showing you how to do it. Keep us posted on how it works out for you 😀
Anyone know how to replace the part the bulb plugs into? It looks like mine went bad and actually melted the plastic around the hole that the bulb goes through z
@@OmarsGarage cool man, do you have a video that shows how to properly connect it? Is it as easy as twisting the wires together and wrapping it in electrical tape?
@@tallcip65 most of the kits come with a shrink wrap type of seal. You just twist, cover, and hear with a heat gun or lighter to get the material to shrink and make it water proof. If you really want to do it right you can solder it.
Appreciate the speed of your video and not dragging it out! Very helpful thank you

From Canada eh? Spent a lot of time in Montreal and some time in Toronto. Loved it up there. Glad your Jeep is good now 👍
You made it look easy so as a 71 yr. Old woman I am going to try my luck changing my turn signal bulb. Thank you so much. L Chapman
Well my 8 year old daughter helped me change the oil on my Porsche 911, I’m sure 71 years of wisdom will make quick work of that bulb 👍
Going to try doing it myself now (54 yr old woman here) your awesome

Cool hat, my next vehicle will the the CyberTank, but for now its nice having a paid off Patriot.
The Cybertruck would be a better tow vehicle for my McLaren than my Model X. I am eager to see what the final version is.
Exactly what I needed, thanks so much for posting!
Glad I could be of help.

Thank you for the helpful video. I am struggling to get the caps off with my screw driver. Any tips?
Try using two screwdrivers on either end.
Thx for the video. Helped me out greatly

Ty
You are definitely welcome.
Excellent, to the point video gives all necessary info which I found accurate and solved my problem.
Thank you sir. Glad my video could help 👍
Thanks!!
Thanks for the help.
What is the little bulb for. The one below. Thanks.
I think that’s the reverse parking light. It comes on when the reverse gear is selected.
Your not supposed to touch the bulbs without gloves on because the oils from you're fingers will prematurely burn out bulb way before normal
thanks g
What year is the Patriot?
2015

You can replace the socket by cutting the old one and splicing in a new one. Here’s the link for the part amzn.to/3MqMpQT

I recommend not touching the bulb with your hands. The oils is what burns them out quicker.
Awesome, you are correct. Thanks for the reminder and tip for others. 👍
@@OmarsGarage how long do those silverstars last for you tho?
@@jakeboulter5020 they usually last at least 5 years depending on how much you drive the car. I
Oils from your fingers will burn that bulb out faster than it should
