That looks beautiful!!! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only teacher eager to get her planner setup for the upcoming school year😊. I'm a huge fan of the Mambi planners due to the flexibility. I have the hole punches for that system, but I've been disappointed by it's inability to punch through laminated sheets. So as soon as I saw you with the Staples hole punch I instantly paused the video jumped over to Amazon and ordered it. However, once I return to the video and continued watching it concerned me to see that you struggled with the laminated sheets😣. How did you eventually remove the sheet?
Yes, I've been very eager for June to roll around so I could start using the planner! And yes, the laminated sheet did come out. It got a little stuck but it was a pretty simple trick to get it out. I bought the Staples hole punch because it had a fairly large page capacity (8-sheets) unlike some of the other arc punches I've seen around. Essentially, not all of the punch's arcs get stuck. It's just a couple that keep the page from coming out. So I took off the bottom on the punch and used a chopstick to push up on the arcs that weren't releasing the sheet. I'm not sure if my explanation makes any sense, but in the end I was able to get the laminated sheet out and it was still in tact.
How did it end up working out for you? I'm starting law school and have opted to go with the TUL note-taking system, which is my first dabble in the disc bound system. I'm really hoping it goes well!
I really like the discbound system for planners! I've been using it for 3 years now. However I've never tried it for note-taking. I like being able to remove and attach pages in whatever order I want.
I'm so sorry for the delayed response! For the divider pages, I used 65 lb. white cardstock paper from Michaels. For the regular pages, I used 28 lb. 100 bright HP paper from Amazon.

Your planner looks lovely, and those tabs are amazing. That being said, you should be careful with “At-A-Glance” in your yearly overview, which is trademarked.
I love disc planners! So easy to use and your planner turned out so pretty! :)
I ordered my own discbound planner and punch yesterday and this video is getting me so excited for it to arrive!
Yay! I’m so excited for you!
As a former OfficeMax employee, Tūl is pronounced the same as tool.
I thoroughly enjoyed this setting up process.
This looks amazing, congratulations! Loved the color schemes, the design of the pages and the cute page tabs!!
Thank you!
You should make a student planner, I really enjoy the design
Great video Jane. I'm going to use parts of your planner product and one designed for speech therapists to create the ultimate therapy planner : )
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
Happy planner now has the metallic discs which look so much better than the plastic ones 👍🏼

I think if you put paper over both sides of the laminated paper you want to punch it wont stick in the hole punch
What kind of paper did you use to print the planner pages? How many pounds?
I'm so sorry for the delayed response!

Would you consider only selling the tabs page?
Did you use a special kind of paper for your pages?

I tried to sign up for the site to get your planner but it would not work
Hello Anita, Did the link not work or the website?
Do you like being a teacher and what grade do you teach
Yes I love being a teacher. It is really hard but it's worth it. I teach high school math.
I filled out the form and it would not do anything
Control is a manifestation of fear. Amazing planners.

Eek! I didn't know! I will make sure to change that!
If she isn’t selling it, she isn’t infringing on the copyright. You can do whatever you want when it is for personal use.
Diane Stewart True, except this is a product she is selling.
Oops, guess you can tell I responded before watching, LOL
Great video !
You did not like anything 😂
Yea... I'm really picky haha
