    Excellent explanation.
    Could you please explain in buck converter across which component the undesired voltage dropping? If I well understood the concept, inductor will drop the undesired voltage across it and pass the required voltage to load terminal is it correct? If yes in equation we are writing (Vl=Vin-Vout as per KVL) but how we can confirm or prove the undesired voltage dropped across the inductor during switch On period?
    Your answer will be highly appreciated and helpful to clarify my confusion on this subject.

    first of all thanks for the valuable content I just have one question when analyzing the circuit in the off-time
    why is vl = -vo shouldn't it be vl = vo because in the off time the inductor will try to keep the current in the same direction so the inductor signs must be changed accordingly

    hi , how a buck converter ic supply its own circuit ? I mean I always see an internal voltage regulator inside every diagram of ic but if it get the current from the source directly it is not efficient
