Hi guys! Firstly, apologies for the bad audio quality in this video, it was filmed in a make-shift setup while I was travelling. Also for anyone who doesn't know about chess speedruns, I have a rating of 2100-2200 on my main account, but have reset my rating to 400 on a new account for this speedrun. I will make this a series where I work up through the ranks from 400-2000 ELO, showing the mistakes that come up at these levels and a variety of opening set-ups!
this 400 played really well for their rating, and this game and commentary were really nice to watch live after my internship finally ended. thanks Hannah!
i was praying they were going to find a5 when there knight was hanging. i think that could have made for a very interesting game. though, i think black had an obvious bail out option.
This is an amazing video! I'm ecstatic to see more of this video series in the future!🎉 Very useful to lower elo players like me, much easier to understand than other chess videos out there.
0:00 Intro 00:06 Game starts 14:19 Analysis I always find Rapid Speedrun games very useful! Thanks for explaining the game plan and ideas behind your moves. The later game analysis was helpful, too! One thing I'd like to suggest: Please continue adding the elo in the thumbnail so that when people watch speedrun videos in the future, it's easier to find them. :D
same. blunders and end game for me like i lose most of those games with one minor piece left or pawns. and then anyone with weird openings or really locked up closed pawns i can't find ways to attack

Glad you enjoyed! :))
Great vid! You're good at explaining your thought process. Keep it up!
Appreciate it! :)
Super cool educational video. I liked both parts where you share your thoughts during play and review after. Please, give us more of this!
Thanks! Will do!
An upside-down London… from an Aussie… hmmmm…

Thanks for that!
Looking forward to more of these.
thanks Jeff!
I’ve been stuck at 800-900 rating for a year :( Also this 400 is amazing, I was playing horribly at that level
keep pushing forward! you can do it 😊. I agree that they played super well, I can’t believe how good people are at this level these days 🥹

You're great Hannah, stay humble.
Thank-you! :D
it's cool that you're so positive. chess is a grind for me, it's never been as fun as you seem to make it
yeah the guy played really well more like 800
Hey Hannah! I would guess you're still actively studying to improve your OTB rating. What levels of OTB (Classical Strength) are we at now? 🤓🤓🤓
almost 1700! :D
@@hannahsayce1 Ouu. Fancy.
But you've been slaying some 1900s and 2000s out there haven't you?
(And FIDE, yes?)
My rating is over 9000
Stonkfish?
