Tanner, it’s very clear from your own in-car camera that you were turning your wheels to the left BEFORE they dropped the green flag on the re-start. He had the position with the inside line, but you were clearly going to cut him off and move to the inside. He did what people have told you to do on here when someone cuts you off…
Strum the dude ran over Tanner no 2 ways about it. Completed the other guys fault.
@@leonhood2649 - Sorry to disagree with you, but this was Tanner’s fault that the guy didn’t have anywhere else to go but forward. If Tanner had held his line on the outside until they had room to pass, he wouldn’t have gotten ran over.

@@strumbum946 I see your point, but the guy left that line open on the restart. My crew always got onto me that I had to be on the bumper of the guy infront of me or I was leaving that spot open, and people WILL take it. So if the guy on the inside didn't leave the spot open then Tanner wouldn't be able to do what he did. Then the guy got mad about it and didn't lift going into the corner. Inside guys fault.
@@HashAssett - As you saw in the video, you dive down on someone during a start/re-start, and cut them off, you see what can happen…
Looks like your really chopped him down on the start down the straight away without really clearing him… kinda think that one was on you.
everyone was chopping everyone, and tanner cleared him so that guy driving thru him was uncalled for

@@scottwest8742 coming to the green off the corner tanner moved the other guy into the infield Simple as that. He didn’t have no jump they were dead even. Then as you watch the next restart he doesn’t chop down his sister he holds his line…. Others are racing him as he is racing them is how I see it I’m sure that other car was not happy with how he got chopped down so bad on the start.

I hear you. One thing to remember in my videos my comments are like a post race interview. I haven't seen a replay. Watching it back I was like "Oh no" cause I didn't realize how low I came on the start. I thought it would work...It didnt. I still think the guy could have lifted ONLY because how he tried to drive through me would have never worked (we were wrecking no matter what). But I will agree I caused part of it by trying to be aggressive.
Ya it definitely looked like bumper cars ! Not good on equipment, but still seat time !!! Keep positive attitude and just learn !!! You and Carly are doing Great keep it up !!! Tanner, I'm amazed that both your and Carly's Carts survived that carnage intact. I must say, Tanner you are a great teacher, because Carly held her own against you and every body else. I thought that was Carly's car I saw parked next to you in the pits and was hoping I would get to see some good head to head competition between you and Carly, although I think even with her young age and less experience, she would be able to give you a real run for your money. All in all, it was quite an exciting time, thanks for sharing, God Bless you both and stay safe.

Sucks, but kinda refreshing to see that even 18T isn't invincible to dirty driving and mess-ups. Unfortunately this kind of race is what happens from time to time, more often for others. That's how our entire race season felt this year. Like you said "Hopefully just forget about it."

I live in Albany and had thought about going but I was on the road picking up my daughter that evening. When I went by on my way back into town there were cars on the track. I couldn't see if you and Carly were on track but I was cheering for you from the highway anyways!
That was a wild race, i don't know who that was that drove through Tanner but that was completely uncalled for.

I see the same problem as with the sprint car. If you’re not on the front row on starts or restarts, they go, you don’t. Not sure the issue there but you don’t stick yourself in the mix. They drive away.

I 100 percent agree. I had a camera on Carly’s car that I should’ve included in the video. Only reason I didn’t is because Carly didn’t want to be in the video because she was 10x more mad than me😂😂😂

Tanner I hate to say from the angle of the camera I put the big wreck on you because you tried to pinch the 3rd place kart off going down the front stretch and I don't think you had him totally cleared so he held his ground and drove over you
Ya I hear you. It was a tough deal. Things felt like they happened differently in the moment then on video (if that makes sense lol). I definitly contributed too it more then I thought. But In a way I had to do something otherwise I was trapped.

So just like a Sprintcar meeting but the cars have a clutch so restarts do not take 10min everytime.
I gave up on Sprintcars several years ago with a 75 min B main. Which should have been called at 15min.

Looks like it got to you an it really affected the way you drove on restarts so what if u were on the outside you could have pinched them down an been able to take their line away to but good run keep the dirty side down had also a quick tip your rear bearnings are in a cassette right theres 3 bolts usually ive found that losing them up not to much but just enough that they spin i.e. the bolts
It frees up the car alot more

Tanner, how hard is it to go from a limited, 360,or 410, to outlaw? I'm sure you learn a lot from the big classes. The power difference has to be difficult. The north west has to be proud of Kyle Larson he will be the NASCAR champ this year. Keep it up you never know there might be a Holmes champ in the future.
Its tough. They all drive differently. And you have to take pieces from each to be successful.
