    A favourite in my collection, alongside a JLC Polaris. But the 6 marker should just be a tiny circle and the watch 100m waterproof (and be rid of the silly snap on case-back). The BoR bracelet is so good that I don’t want to take it off, even though I found a perfect black leather strap for it. Overall really happy with this watch, I like it more than my Tuxedo chrono.

    I did not like the light one (too similar to a Dan Henry 1947 I already have). But this dark dial and the eye-catching bracelet totally got me 😍😻

    The snap-on case back seems like a really weird choice in this price range. Otherwise a beautiful watch.

    Elegant piece - like it a lot! The 19mm lug would be problem if that bracelet wasn't so nice. 30m water resistance isn't great, but not an issue for a more dressy watch like this.

    I don't understand why they've left the remnants of the 6 in place: it makes the small seconds subdial look like an afterthought.

    I finally got a timegrapher and have been testing my watch collection. My Heritage Classic sector has been apparently performing well on the wrist. On the timegrapher, tested at 3 different orientations showed 0, 1, and 2 seconds daily margin of error. It's my most accurate mechanical watch.

    VERY CLASSY. My only criticism is that the seconds subdial could be a little smaller and positioned slightly higher on the dial, as it almost completely obscures the 6. Not quite a deal breaker, but close IMHO.

    Teddy, could you take a look at the Longines 1832 annual calendar? It’s Longines take of the Visodate and just wanted your two-cents on if its worth the extra cost over the Visodate. Thanks Teddy!

  • @mikepaul2372
    @mikepaul2372 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Love the heritage sector but honestly the hands are too thin. When at 12:30 etc. you cannot see it. The bracelet must change! Would love a fluted bezel option on some variants usage of the cream/black combo used on the tuxedo. Great video. Thanks

    I've just bought this watch, black dial/leather strap. I live in France, so, sorry Teddy, you didn't profit from the sale ! However your videos concerning this watch along with the reaction of Kevin O'leary got my attention. This watch is stunning, it's elegant and unobtrusive on the wrist. Thin hands make it really easy to read the time. I'll agree with your comments of plus three seconds per day from the L 893 movement. Wearing this watch makes me feel good !

    the white dial is my short term grail. i actually prefer that look to jlc master control sector because of the ugly date window on the jlc.

    • @TeddyBaldassarreReviews
      @TeddyBaldassarreReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed with the omission of the date. The symmetry is phenomenal here. Although a date on a sector isn't a dealbreaker for me, my eyes like the look of it without.

    • @Ballacha
      @Ballacha 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TeddyBaldassarreReviews for me, the date function is more appropriate on a tool watch. on a dress or dress oriented casual watch like the two we are talking about though, the date function can and perhaps should be left out if the design doesn't require it. there are beautiful date windows on dress watches though. like the big date on the glashutte original you just made a video of. but hey, it's all personal preference. i appreciate both watches i like and watches i don't like in the market. because both groups of watches contribute equally to refining my taste.

    If you're going for vintage, then a lower beat is part of that picture. My older (or older design) watches are typically 18000 vph. That is also not as noticable on a small seconds.

    I love the Longines sector dial. Simple, easy to read and going by my silver dial (on a leather strap) version pretty accurate and very well finished with a lovely box sapphire crystal. I'd like to see the black dial version in the flesh but it sure looks great on video. I guess the silver dial version just looks a little bit more classic.

    Seen it in person, both this and the white dial and the chronograph tuxedo. And a lot more on the wtc boutique nyc. The black dial is rich but toned waay down with the white printings. I wish they made black gilt dial version, black dial, gold details including the hands. Well... One to each own, but I must say, the white one got more "pop" happening on the wrist than this one that is more understated, and the chronograph tuxedo is just too fine, makes it into one of my wish list.

    Would be my personal favorite but, 1) seconds dial is obstructing the six mark too much. It should have been smaller not to obstruct the outer hour ring. Or the more classic solution with the seconds hand in the center. 2) The hour hand is a bit too long. 3) a date function not obstructing the outer ring would have been nice. 4) an interruption in the line crossing the logo would have been better.
    With all these changes, the watch would be more classic and symmetric.
    All the rest is just PERFECTION, especially the bracelet.
