It looks like 2 ppl sparring, rather than other games that look like an arcade version of ppl sparring. Like you said, the fluid motions here are a huge improvement over the sometimes disjointed/janky combos in the other games
Looks very smooth. Undisputed feels like you are stuck in the mud and, even though punches are getting better, still a lot of shoulder only punches. The weight and energy transfer in this game is very good.
Here me out I dont think its been done in a game before but with the fighting stance animations it would be cool if they could do an option to choose your own leg/footwork animation and upper body stance separately to best fit your style for boxing/kickboxing. I think it would be unique.
When I seen the black trunks push with the left then jab directly after the push then with space follows with his straight .. I was sold it was looked so fluid

It been so many years since we had a decent kickboxing game(2003). This game looks very promising. I am guessing the fighters are going to be base on real fighters. Maybe in the far future they can join forces with Glory kickboxing?

I’ve always been under the impression that I will never get to play a fighting game that resembles a real life fight in our lifetime. This is mainly because of the past fighting games especially the ea ufc series looking too robotic and complete shithouse. Yes the THQ series looked beautiful and aesthetically pleasing but it was still miles away from resembling a real life fight. But after watching these clips of how awesome this game looks I’m fucking excited for the future of fighting games and now have high hopes that I’ll finally get to play the game I want. Remind me of the movement on a Dreamcast game I used to have call Victorious Boxers. It wasn't even a Sim but it had some of the best actual boxing that I've ever played.
Yeah, it's going to be hard to look forward to Undisputed now when I know there's a company making an actual boxing sim with everything we have been begging Undisputed to implement for the last 4 years. 😄
This is looking like it will turn out to be one of the better combat sports games on the market. It'll be great competition for Undisputed. The last developer round table for Undisputed showed the fixes they've implemented to give the punches the fluidity and impact we've been asking for, so don't sleep on Undisputed as its going to be great as well. Also, I'm seeing folks mentioning that a big company like EA should get behind this. To that, I would say a big NEGATIVE lol. EA has already proven that they have no respect for physics in their combat sports titles. In my opinion, EA doesn't differentiate combat sports titles from "fantasy" fighting titles like Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc, the characters have zero footwork and just slide around the ring like they're ice skating. EA hasn't shown any interest in correcting this either, as UFC 5, their most recent combat sports title still has the "slidey" stiff movement, so please gents lets leave EA out of this lol.

That's because EA knows they can sell a game by their name alone. They've been doing it for years. EA has all the resources and money to make the best games, but care more about rushing games through and making money.

Footwork Footwork Footwork! idk how developing a game goes, but in fighting, the footwork sets everythinggggg up. From Offense to defense and everything in between, all at once. The flow in the game looks INCREDIBLE, most realistic fighter motions/mechanics I’ve seen. Especially with kickboxing & muay thai clips I’ve seen, there’s so much volume IRL and this game does a great job allowing to replicate the styles required for each martial art.
Undisputed has been teasing us for about 3 yrs that I know of and it still looks unpolished. This games looks like it has potential to be a great boxing and kickboxing game.
from a gameplay standpoint alone that already looks better than ufc 5, undisputed and all of the fightnights combined, imagine online fights with that fludity and speed
