This song has so many memories to be as a child. Chester is amazing and he touched so many people. I get chills hearing his voice.. this made me have those chills. You guys did amazing he would be proud.
Yet he sold out and said in his interview before he died that if you like their old music and not their music that you're not a real linkin park and you should listen to something else, you can imagine how upset all those loyal and die hard LP fans were.

I rearranged the lyrics a little to be about being in love with a girl and being on drugs (specifically heroin) at the same time. For example instead of "Shes sticking needles in her skin. I turn with an ugly grin. She shouldn't leave a mark that I can see" I wrote, "I'm sticking needles in my skin. I sit with an ugly grin. I shouldn't leave a mark for her to see". The original was about Corey's love hate relationship with the music industry, my version is clearly, to any former abuser/someone who has been around it, a song about drug addiction. So its still a cover, just different!
I can't help but to see Chester smiling from ear to ear on this one. I just found y'all as of 2022 and you are already my favorite band. I've listened to all that you have done and have loved every single song. LP is and will forever be my favorite band but y'all are officially my #2. Keep up the solid work and amazing music! I honestly think this lead singer could be solid for linkin park if they ever wanted to try it again. Nobody can replace Chester but his vocal range is similar and very gritty

I know 90% of artists now use autotune, well over-use the autotune, but me coming from a music theory background I listen out for my voice and if it’s an auto tuned note into lets say a major or minor key and it’s a 3 note jump, I try and bend with like a C or an A or whatever note is harmonic and bend between notes
