I Love Dao the white horse who holds his tail a little higher in the beginning 2 horse 2 rider Mirror act such a beautiful talented horse. Although so are all the others as well as the people!!! Great Show probably the best I have ever seen!
It is entirely true. That man understands horses in a way few people on the planet do. And his horses are relaxed in a way that can only be achieved through the most rigorous and conscientious natural horsemanship methods. He loves his animals like children. If he didn't, those horses wouldn't work for him in the loving manner that they do!
We saw Cavalia near Seattle at Marymoor Park. If we had paid $500 per ticket I would have left believing we had witnessed wayyyyyyy more than our money's worth! It was non-stop gymnastics by humans, and ballet by both humans and horses - magical, mystical, stunningly beautiful (and impossible to describe)....
Frederic Pignon seems so calm and easy going with his horses, I wonder if he is always like that? The horses seem happy to work with him, I hope they really are. He seems to allow just a touch of "sassy" which makes me believe he truly cares about the horses happiness. Again, I hope that is true.
Also, Cavalia do the show w about 40 some horses & actually have 160 in ttl. Rotation so horses don't tire from repetition. Play only music that is appeasing to their ears. Most wonderful show ever seen! Respect for these magnificent beings 3 spirit of the horse.
OMG IT JUST CLICKED!!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen post boards all around the city saying Cavalia or something I never got it tho.. I thought it was an add.. Im so upset I missed it now!!! Its ok I will know what it is next time haha too bad.. Thats so depressing lol
To GLjumper-the show has tickets of different prices, check their site-I think it's Cavalia.net. I saw it last week and I am going again tonight! I have to travel a few hours each way to see it, but believe me it is sooooo worth it!! You really have to be there to get the real experience-no video or picture can do it justice.
@jennifergalland It was a bit disappointing that the horses were ears pinned back though, they weren't seeming happy to be there. One Arab was trying pretty hard to bite Sylvia, it didn't seem like the loving friendship I had hoped to see, maybe that left the show when Frederic did? The Roman/trick riding impressed me more than the liberty. The horses just didn't seem to happy or engaged.
I wanted to go with my family and the cost was $80/person and $30 for parking. I thought the sales clerk said $8 and when he said 80, I said forget it,I wanted to see the white horse,NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!! So I've only seen the tent but not what's inside. But I have seen a few of them taking a poop during the day for free!
@Cheesekake343 Well it was an ad for this show but I thought It was one for some company with a picture of a big pretty horse to draw attention to it lol
@jennifergalland I just saw their last show in Van and was disappointed no Friesians, do you know why? It was a great show but I have to say., no Friesians was a burn for me.

Interesting that the audience can shoot photos and video. If you tried that in Seattle, the ushers would drag you away.
@ABintroSPECTOR1 Unfortunately Im not. It was here around.. August or September, but thank you for informing me! (-:
