Andy was like a chess player boxing. Loved watching him fight, even when it looked like he was being madly beaten he was always dengerous because he had unbelievable accuracy and power. I feel us Irish did'nt appreciate him enough unfortunately

Correct, very underrated by the general public, I followed him from a young age he had a brilliant style, and always came across as one of the nice guys of boxing

@@johnbryan1149 Real fans knew he was class, but I remember when he couldn't get enough fans in limerick to sell a fight for his world title defense. That's a big let down for a world class athlete by the irish public. I was fuming about it at the time, like everyone was transfixed on Katie Taylor and connor McGregor. Lee was an unbelievable fighter that I think we didn't get behind enough.

Late to see this video. I live in Detroit and have met Andy Lee and Emanuel Steward. Two of the best men I've ever had the pleasure to meet. So grateful to have been able to see Andy Lee fight , Novi MI, 2012. No wonder Andy and Emanuel got on so well. Emanuel cared about people in general and was very kind. Very humble men that love the sport of boxing. RIP. Emanuel Steward...you were the best and made a brutal sport more humane and personal.

More than boxing Andy just Emanuel when he was still with us,these Gents are just incredible people! Andy just needed someone like Emanuel to believe in him and that's what made him so dangerous. He knew that people he looked up to believed in him and he never wanting to let them down along with great fundamentals! Let's not forget that dynamite right hook! What a Champion caliber person!
