Talk about prolific. James Arthur wrote 60 songs during the pandemic lockdown. Sorting through them to choose the keepers for his upcoming fourth album must have been as hard as dreaming them up. But those are the kind of duties artists enjoy...and also the kind of duties fans benefit from. Three, “Medicine,” “Train Wreck” and “September,” were part of a studio session the UK singer filmed for Vevo. Each has the signature melancholy that earned the 2012 ‘X Factor’ winner a great rep as a ballad singer. With Arthur, it all comes from the heart. “I always try to make my music as autobiographical and honest as I can,” he recently said. One of a kind for sure, ive tried to cover this song because i have a raspy voice but im not giving it justice. Not in a million years. This is HIS song just as nobody can replicate Freddie mercury nobody can do what james does with this. Some songs are just impossible to do with the same passion and put in the emotion in as good as the original artist.
