I don't know what that was... but I think I liked it. The last five minutes when the guy sits down and watches Shannon bow the wire alongside the girl on the floor is some of the most compelling live footage I've ever seen.
I don't know what I was feeling while watching this performance, but I was so compelled and in awe the whole time. This kind of music that provokes such an emotion from people, like the person who sat to the left of Shannon. Complete focus and attention dedicated to them and their craft. The point that they began to let the sounds take hold and let them release physical emotion is so warming, in a way. The fact that these people are filled with such fascination and curiosity for art like this is so neat. This is, of course, the type of stuff I would listen to once in a blue moon. Way more tolerable than noise music, for sure, but I actually like this. Couldn't identify any of what I was feeling the whole time, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this. Excellent stuff, Pedestrian Deposit.
From 12:40 on, I was just transfixed by this performance! Had to play it over and over! I hope Shannon Kennedy never sprains her neck doing this, and I don’t mean that as a joke!!
It does not suppose to. It is a play between a putrefied carcass and a flower. Chromatically speaking. Thematically is more about how passionate willingness turns into a coercive trap.
Idk if it was an ok thing as part of the crowd interaction but I didn’t like how that one dude kept pushing her. I’m like bro stop pushing the performer. Idk like i said maybe it’s ok?
It was part of the act that Shannon was like in some sort of entranced climax that he would have to make sure she's okay but it was just gimmicky more on her end then him playing along. I say that fully believing Shannon is one of the most physical performers I've ever seen. Trust me I'm all in on pedestrian deposit. This was just a little gimmicky
De-evolution in a technologically advanced society with increasingly nihilistic morality and more and more words to express that feeling is perhaps the nature of the society itself. Dehumanization. This is ‘primitivist’ expression of direct feeling, in a world increasingly filtered by endless words and ultimately lacking for it. This is it. No words. Only feeling. The audience has to interpret everything with no clear narrator or structure. High art. There was a time when artists still felt, and felt deeply anything but narcissism. Evolution.
The term 'de-evolution' is meaningless. It implies a negative change, as if the term 'evolution' necessarily implied a positive change, which it doesn't. All change is evolution. The opposite of evolution is stasis.
the girl on the floor is the most relatable person ever like damn me too girl I'm completely entranced every time I watch this set
I genuinely watched the whole performance, being able to see how they produce all that noise in hypnotic
She's just mad that she can't find the end of the chain
lmao🤣🤣🤣
STOP😂
Wonderful performance.

I keep coming back to this performance. Seriously so good all the way through. Incredible
Beautiful performance.

I love when noise people can go from very abrasive ugly sounds to very pretty sounds.
I'll have what that girl on the floor is taking
Incredible, immersive, masterful.
That girl on the floor is me right now.
Immersive and engaging sound-art.
That build up at the start is just haunting and i love it
True art

Where can Str8 Sounds get a musical chain like that? And, by the way, I'll take whatever that lady on the floor is taking.
It's like Diamanda Galas joining Steve Stapleton for a Whitehouse show.
This is the sound of my thoughts XD
ok this fucks hard
This fuckin' kills. How do I find these shows?
They find you i guess
head banging at a noise show is top 5 most cringe things someone could do
I don't get it ig? It just doesn't feel good to listen to I think noise just might not be for me
