One thing that I wanted to mention is that screen protech makes a version of that kit that has holes for just the heated seats. It looks like the version you installed was pre-cut for a spec that has both ventilated seats and heated seats.
Ya mine came with both. Did you use the link to get yours? If you message them before buying they can probably customize it for you if you don't want the ventilated cutouts. I think they just sent me their most popular. But man is it worth it.. one of my gopro mounts fell off the windshield and hit my center-console with no issue..I was nervous cause piano black scratches if you just breathe on it 😅😅 makes a huge difference and you're not as worried about the fine scratches or someone touching it with nails or jewelry on
Yep. That's why I'm getting it. Every gentle wipedown scratches it. Yes, I ordered it from their site. They have a specific option for just heated seats, so I checked that box. The graphic they show has cutouts for only the heated seats, so that's what I'm hoping arrives. Is the weird horseshoe shape that's at the back of the console nearest to the armrest/storage box included? You have aluminum there, but on my T it's piano black. I'll either cover it with film or replace the part with a leather wrapped one from Suncoast.@@jeffcamara

Mine is a the carbon fiber but it's so solid I didn't even bother putting the wrap on.. but send them a message to make sure you're getting the right one. I should probably let them know it doesn't fit too..could have been a different model that they scanned
Yes, it's the same as iPhone screen protecter. Smart move. There is one small advice, have the small cleaning towel between your seats *your future 911 will thank you ...
Oh i made sure to, I placed the towel between the seats and on the area when I was setting it up, so all was protected and not to over saturate anything.. so I'm fully covered! And the car lol
Go for it brotha! I was worried about the same thing but there was no issue. I went with distilled water too, to make sure there were no minerals or contaminates in the water. Makes it way easier and dries faster too!!
@@jeffcamara I sent the vendor an email see if they can provide a screen protector for my 13x5 Android touch screen I have installed in my E400. Hope they can help. 😄
@@jeffcamara ScreenProTech folks actually designed a custom screen protector for my E400 aftermarket 13x5 Android touch screen. I just sent them an imagine with the dimensions and they went ahead and design. They even sent me two protectors! Those people are awesome. I will post video in my channel once I have the screen installed. Thanks Jeff for sharing those guys info.

Man I thought it was till I damaged my last car with a cleaning product that permanently left the plastic foggy with a texture to it. People are careless with things that aren't there's.. so I'll protect it from jewelry, fake nails, grubby fingers lol etc... the way I see if i can spend almost 10k to wrap the outside it's worth the 50-60 bucks to take care of the screens, tack and center-console... everything is unnecessary till something happens lol
