Audrey I changed more than what was filmed. Suspension, body panels, wheels, brakes,etc but haven’t been blogging it just started modding it. You can see a difference obv. Motor was already built

That’s a hell of a start point lol
Yes it was an blessed to have the great starting point. What wasn't filmed was the suspension mods / Aero / refinishing - sanding the stock body / dent repair / injectors / tune / etc. I started youtube late and didn't have everything on film. Regardless you can see the difference from beginning to end.
Flipzco not criticising , I feel there’s something to be said for having the head start point. There seems to be a snobbish element creeping into the modding world if you haven’t built the car from the ground up with an older car then you can’t claim it as your build. Personally I think that’s bollox . How is you buying an older car that has had some good mods already done, thus getting you ahead any different than say a TJ hunt buying a new BRZ and modding. Just as buying a second hand motor with good mods gives you a head start so does buying a new car.
I’ve always done the same. My current motor Vauxhall’s Astra j vxr I bought from new . This car already came with amazing interior, plenty gadgets, already decent power, good look, 20” rims , great paint job’ loads of extras, reverse cam, park sensors, everything automated etc. Because I’m suffering health issues I can’t do my own work anymore so it needs professionally done which slows the process down.
But with new “2 piece” rims, suspension upgraded, full custom cat back SSE (soon to become turbo back) , custom high air intake, new “does all” head unit, stage one retune. It’s definitely not the same car I bought. With more mods coming. I’m still proud of my car, where it’s at, where it’s going etc. Health prevents me from doing things but I have just as much right to be proud of my car and my vision for it and it definitely doesn’t make me less of a “petrol head” .

@@ULSTERISBRITISH Yea, title is misleading and it’s definitely not an “INSANE TRANSFORMATION” and it’s definitely not “building” the car, if that was the case it would be from stock or minimal upgrades. Also not sure why he’s being snobby and bragging about the car when it wasn’t him who done the work really :/

I didn't film everything but I saved everything for the next video of how much I actually have into it after buying it semi-built. Car was built back in 99 so there was a lot to change and fix before it looks the way it is. im just not a huge TH-camr and was building the car when I was still working late shifts so I never took the camera out to film every step. Suspension mods, wheels, arm kit, TRD differential, cooling system. There was a lot done behind the scenes but I just never filmed it. Thanks tho respect you to bro!

I personally like simpler style on mk4. You can do alot of fine detail stuff to dress them up. But I've noticed that people sometimes do to much and take it to far and then they start looking kinda like they are trying to hard. Example would be like s2000

Looking to buy a supra that is making 600bhp, is a 2JZ very high maintenance or what?
Entire GLXY Strong Motor so its not HIGH maintenance but since is a 25 year old car it needs to be ran through a lot. The most $$$ is oil changes and plugs, tune, & tideous leaks. But they are simply bylletproof if you take care of them

Year in a half. Maybe do another color sometime soon until I can find someone to spray the OEM red again. Hard to find good painters
