Really good performance. Very well executed and it has a lot of emotion put into it. One small criticism is that some of the dynamics, like in the intro, are ignored. The intro is supposed to have this wave-like affect, from diminuendoing and crescendoing each phrase. It adds much more build up to the main melody rather than just one big crescendo. Another small thing is for the vibes player, speaking from personal experience I’d say with vibraphone it’s better to learn and use Burton rather than using Stevens. That could help fix the note accuracy, since you have more options for how choked up on the mallets you could be. Vibraphones are smaller than marimbas, so using Stevens could create problems with hitting wrong keys. Now obviously it’s different for everyone so I could be completely wrong, just something to consider. Other than that, I really enjoyed this. :D
