I grew up in Grand Island Nebraska, my parents owned a cafe and we had the cream pies. We were off I-80 but in town. To all the road towns Love seeing and going along. I did drive Route 66 when I moved to Kansas City. Thanks Jordan and Scott
It’s Friday morning 23rd here and my Birthday today. 🥳 I’m going to start my day by watching, day 14. I bet I’m not disappointed. This trip has been great. Thank you. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
Jordan I’m a Kids R Us kid and I don’t want to grow up and I feel you’re just like me and it’s great!!! I love the way you find joy in everything, great attitude. 👍🏻
Sweet that you wrote your friends name!! 🥰 I’m glad that you two are doing this trip! Very adventurous! I’ve been through some of it; but nothing like this! It’s interesting how people have restored some of it; so people can enjoy the history!!!👏🏼👏🏼
Great day. I sure wanted a peice of pie served at one of those 50s kitchen tables. Nice of you to memorial Will at Cadillac Ranch. That's what friends do, Jordan.
This was fun again. Glad to share all the things you and Scott are finding. Sad so much of this is disappearing. Thanks for taking us along. I'm enjoying this. You and Scott stay safe and take care.
This trip is really terrific. It is fascinating to watch the ever changing landscape as you head towards the west coast. - Thank you Jordan and Scott for all the brilliant stops along the way, can't wait to see what the second half of the Route brings.
Hi Jordan and Scott, Day 13. Too bad they did not have any fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches at the Mid Point Cafe. Awesome viedo, R.I.P. Will watching your Dodgers from heaven ty for another fun ride, keep the ride going.
That's cool that they have the mid point marked off! It always gives me a weird feeling seeing abandoned places thinking about how active they once used to be and seeing them now all empty and desolate.
Nice you got to go to Midpoint cafe. Nothing in Glenrio. I noticed the old El Camino. I remember back in the day seems like loads of guys had those El Caminos. Have a great day, safe travels to New Mexico.
Thanks Jordan! I prefer that section of the Cadillac ranch above ground and no graffiti myself. That year caddies was beautiful those streamline bodies and those gorgeous fins! It was nice to see!
am so loving the travels you guys are vlogging. so interesting to see the Mid-Point of Route 66. the stops you've made seeing the the vehicles so beautiful and shiney to old and rustic. just to see old buildings and to think how life was back in the day. stay safe Jordan and Scott to of my favorite people. to Will RIP at the Cadilac Ranch.
Jordan I’m really loving these videos, I can’t wait each day to see the next adventure, I look forward to it. So happy you get to do it with Scott.🤜🏼🤛🏻👍
hello Jordan and Scott , almost to your destination 😊 i watched the older vlogs with you and Will and I actually was sad Rip Will because i understand losing people i cared and loved . Been watching since your trip started and its been a wild and fun adventure . Thank you Jordan and Scott taking all of us with you on this trip
There’s so much more to see in Amarillo! Wish you would’ve stayed longer and had more footage of my home town. Love your videos! Would’ve been sweet to meet you. Darn it 😢
Hello, I’m a little late to this video, but had to express my gratitude for your vlog. I fell in love with Amarillo when my daughter attended West Texas A&M University. So many happy memories!! If you pass that way again, please see the canyon in Canyon Texas. I PROMISE that you will love it! ❤️
I love the story of the Cadillac Ranch! AND Bruce's song. Thanks so much Jordan, so sweet of you to write your friend Will's name. I bet he is smiling as wide as Route 66! I hope you are drinking water and staying cool! 💝
You guys are killing it and putting a much-needed smile on my face. THANK YOU!!! Your visit to Tucumcari is awesome. There is a song called "Willin" that was originally done by a famous band from my neck of the woods called Little Feat that was covered later by Linda Ronsdat that actually mentions this town. Little Feat has produced some great music in their day.
It's actually Glen Rio N.M. (the post office was in N.M.) The place that you said had a restaurant, gas station and motor Cort was the Texas Long Horn, it was on the boarder of Texas and N.M. they moved 5 miles west when I40 went through. Named it the TL2. The rooms in the old hotel were made into housing for the employees. I lived there in the late 70s. As far as alcohol, the bar was in N.M. because that county of Texas was a dry county at that time, not sure if it still is. I could keep going on about the past of there, my family is from that area and many still live there. Thanks for the video
Okay, homesick again. When you were going around the golf course in Amarillo, my mom lived two blocks from there. She spent a lot of time in the 6th Street (old 66) part just east, where all the antique shops (and that Sinclair station) and such were. Her barber shop was down on McMasters so she was on that road daily. There used to be an awesome restaurant called Barnaby's Beanery that had fantastic food but last time I was up there, it was gone. Hope you guys had fun on this trip.
Really enjoying your trip! I've been making notes of what to visit. I drove through Missouri Rt 66 this past weekend, and last fall stopped at the Midpoint Cafe on the way to AZ - fun little place! I'm anxious to see if you did the sidewinder!
The 1938 pic of the Alamo interior looks remarkably the way it did when I visited in 1964! No guards or slick displays... where Jim Bowie's famous knife was hung on a peg just out of reach on the wall. It was dark and dank inside with air that barely moved as you peered into those old oak cases.
My aunt once posted that "George Washington" quote, so I looked it up, and He never said that. She didn't care, but lying about George Washington is never cool.
Regarding the nice mural of the cars that are displayed, etc. Jordan tell Scott I agree with him and I think the town should just lock up the damn spray paint cans ! Don’t sell them to young brats !
Route 66 Memories Love you tube channel Love my favorite one fan Big God bless you 💖⭐️😎
You are such a kind and thoughtful person. Anyone you consider a friend should count themselves lucky!❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾
“Can’t really hurt yourself in here.” I beg to differ - I can hurt myself anywhere! 😂
Such a cool journey. Thank you for sharing it with us!
We lived in EL Paso, Texas for 13 years I did do that part of 66 too. Way too much fun!! Riding a motorcycle made it an open eyed experience.
As always very interesting both you and Scott are a great team never a dull moment safe travels I'm enjoying all God bless 🙏

I'm not big on grafetti either, but what a cool thing to do for your friend .
That's cool that they have the mid point marked off! It always gives me a weird feeling seeing abandoned places thinking about how active they once used to be and seeing them now all empty and desolate.
Will is always on your mind, you are so thoughtful a true friend🤗😎
Big thumbs up 👍 Jordan
Another great day on the Route 66 trip. I think Will is smiling because his name is written on the Cadillac and the Cadillac Ranch.
Great State Of Texas 😊❤ My hubby has lots of Family there . THANKS FOR SHARING SCOTT AND JORDAN 🇨🇦😍🥰🫶😘♥️❤️💕
That was a blast. Thank you.
Enjoyed again Jordan, Scott 😊
Those stones in those building walls would make a pretty fireplace and chimany.

Yes! The Alamo was not so slicked up for touristry back in 1964 (I have your memories!) and aren’t we thankful we got to see it then?
I was wondering if you would say when you were halfway. That cafe was cool and the pie looked so good.
It's a great series of videos! (& it's "Kilroy" not "Kill joy")
Its from a song. I was referencing something
I would love to get a hold of that ford ranchero in glenrio
I want to do route 66 GREAT VIDEO JORDAN ❤
No pie? 😁
as I recall A&W started in Calif, Lodi
The Cadillacs were moved to the present location in 1997. City was growing too much westward.
