I'm not a new person, having been born 26 years and some change ago, but I do love it
The first one feels like I'm living in a fantasy world, falling in love with somebody in that world, and living peacefully with that person.
That one Star Trek New Gen episode comes to mind. That flute scene still touches me.

I'm strongly emotionally connected with place that I live in. I love the nature, forests and grasslands around. The first piece reminds me of this place in May. In the evening the sky on the east is so blue-pink and compared with green grass and trees looks like different world. Thought this music I can smell the plants and water.

After looking at the cover of this album, I felt the desire to climb Kita-dake and set up a tent there, where I gazed at the shining Mt. Fuji in the dawn. It was a truly serene and beautiful sight that I will never forget.
Part of me is happy his music didn't really end up on streaming services, but at the same time I wish I could listen to this all the time in the background lol

I had so many plans when youtube showed me this and i randomly clicked it and started to listen. Once the music started the comfortable gentle sounds has me leaning back and barley able to write this let alone do anything else. All I can do is listen and feel loved. thank you Ken-Ichiro Isoda.

Probably because it helps you express some feelings relating to sadness, or whatever emotion that has cry between their behavioral expressions.

Every time I push play on this album I don't care if it ever stops...
this playlist is an absolute work of art. the sound of rain always brings me the biggest comfort and having background music with no lyrics allow me to freely depict the stories it has to tell. i loved everything about this. words can't describe how much peace it provides and the way it lets me stare into the void for which i would typically think of sorrow, but this time with ease and a small touch of happiness as i think about life

The harmonies are very distinctly Japanese or Buddhist sounding, it's hard to tell. Somewhat dissonant with a lot of quartal harmonic structure. Yeah? For me, it really evokes the feeling of mist or wet grass.
