    Great reviews on these four carseats. I started off my original search excluding the NUNA because of the weight limit, but after your review, am excited to FINALLY make a decision! Just ordered the NUNA, so thank you.

    Great video! I was looking specifically someone who shows the recline options!! My babies fall asleep in the car all the time and it is so frustrating trying to adjust the seat nearly impossible but this one looks so good!

      You're welcome Alicia. Glad it gives you idea.
      My Rav4 was a 2 door type (small SUV) and works well for me and my baby, still have a space for someone to sit in front passenger even if you use it in rear facing position. And definitely it will have plenty room leg if will be use front facing.
      I love that i dont need to rethread the belt when i wanted to adjust recline for quick bottle feeding, easy to go rear facing when baby sleeps , so convenient 😊
      I live in a tropical island & I have been constantly changing carseats looking for comfort for my Only child and convenience as parent, i was using Britax Romer (it does 360 as well, only uses isofix) it wiggles so much. Then i switched to Nuna Revv and it works good for small Rav4 and Tucson (Bigger SUV). For 8 months now im still using Nuna Revv. My baby love car Rides . Im still happy using it and i dont think i will change in the next 2-3years. Its worth it, when i see my baby is comfortable.
      I recommended it to my dear friends with active baby onwards.
      Lots of Happy car rides and easy to clean

      The page online says HxWxL dimensions, Length being 34”.
      can only figure length is protruding from seat? But thats almost a yard! How would any car have enough space for that?
      Do you have space to lean your seat back at all?

    I want to love this one but for $200 more than the mid price rotating seats I think getting the 50 pound limit rear facing is more ideal. (I have a medically complex 2 yo who is barely on the growth charts but needs the newborn recline still for her airways.)

    Why didn’t you use the lower anchors? They are located at the back of the seat in the rear trap door. It seems like it would keep it from flopping around.

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@snowman440 so when I reviewed this seat you had to switch over to belt after the child reached a certain weight. In the current model (2024) they've changed the instructions so you can use the lower anchors with the lower anchor connectors for the entire duration of use with no switch over to seat belt. So like if I were to make this video today I would say use the latch. But totally fair question :)

    What if the car was parked on an incline, like on a driveway in front of garage?
    Does it rotate so smoothly that it would rotate towards downhill or stay door facing while loading child?

    • @p3nguinish
      @p3nguinish ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I think the video performed the steps in the wrong order. If you read the install instructions printed on the car seat, clicking in the lap belt compartment door is the very last step AFTER tightening the seatbelt to the max. This video seems to show it as an intermediary step.

    Does it rattle?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have had one customer complaint about this and I have sold probably 50 or 60 so far so like it's possible but I know the customer was able to have it resolved with NUNA. I think ANY seat with 360 degrees of rotation would be more likely to have this happen based on the way they are made but that is just purely my speculation. If you want to have the rotation but make sure it's silent I would strongly suggest doing a seat with a 180 degree rotation instead like the Baby jogger city turn or the Graco Turn 2 me.

    • @stefanieleyva6492
      @stefanieleyva6492 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@destinationbabykids hi! Yes, i think you’re right. I asked Nuna about it too and this is their reply,
      “While rare, we recognize the REVV may exhibit a rattle with an empty seat. This sound is normal and safe! This sound comes from inside
      the seat's connection to the base. This linkage mechanism has the tolerance needed to allow
      smooth rotation both with and without weight in the seat and to allow passage of debris through the mechanism without binding. You may minimize the rattle by rotating the unoccupied seat forward-facing”
      Thank you for replying.

    You have to be mega rich if you can afford to buy this one and then have to buy another one. Doesn't matter how premium it is if it only does 40 pounds.

  • @hannahscott6604
    @hannahscott6604 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This seat sucks. Only goes to 40 pounds! So once the kid is four you have to buy a new 5 pt harness seat

    • @BacktotheOutdoors
      @BacktotheOutdoors ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The seat is primarily intended for young kids, hence the rotating feature that allows you to place your child into it while they’re facing you. That feature is most useful for very small children who cannot help buckle themselves in.
      By the time they’re 40 pounds, you won’t need the rotating feature and you can switch to a new car seat.
      Do-it-all car seats are jacks of all trades, but masters of none. We’d rather buy two seats that work perfectly at different stages instead of one seat that doesn’t do anything particularly well.

      For my Concern being in tropical Island, i only want to use a car seat maximum 4 years even the brand says can use for 7years. For my own personal reasons I would change to different ones in 4years of use, to make sure my child is perfectly safe if ever accident happens. Plus kids habit change over time, so upgrade is a must for me.
