[Holy Nova]: Just want to add that Amplify Magic also doubles the damage against Elementals. That means you get to shot SAFE, Pyro, Jaina, MurkE, PFarmer and Skeletons with it. And with Drak Passive, this extends also to Drake and Firehammer (!). While Renew and Inner Fire are mostly interchangeable, AM makes Holy Nova a completely different spell. It is important to have this option as a player. The discussion between Renew and Inner Fire is more complicated: Inner fire matches Renew (+280HP) only if every mini of your push gets at least 560 damage in 5 seconds. That's an equivalent AoE DPS of 112, which you have to take for 5 sec (Blizzard, Gnoll and Sneed provide alone similar DPS). So it's not impossible at all in big clashes, but it is a lot of damage and must be timed in combat. And if you have already some armored or resistant minis, Inner fire gives only marginal benefits. The benefits of renew extends also outside of those 5 sec. ...but Renew leads to overflow of HP quite often, which is difficult to quantify. Inner fire can also prevent some minis to be one-shotted (very situational).
Savage strike isn't bad: +100%DPS damage half of the time is like a +50%DPS all the time. Unfortunately half of the minis have not enough HP and get already one-shotted by Grom even without Savage Strike, so overall the bonus gets applied less frequently. Still quantifiable as a +15/25% DPS (not bad) What really gives Mirror Image the edge, that has not been mentioned, is that the Images Bloodlust Grom. That's alone a +33%DPS, without counting the 2 Mirrors...
