My father committed suicide when I was 9 years old.. it did a lot of damage to my sister and I.
They say people who suicide are passing their pain into their family and I feel having first hand experience that that is true..
Please please if you are doing it tough talk to someone.. your family needs you more than you know and if you have kids they need you even more..
Even if you have no family, the world needs you!!
Remember this mantra if you are doing it tough...

@@Mac-jx8uj that is true, also a lot of (men especially) find it very hard to open up. I know I have in the past, losing a business cause of covid and at the same time finding out my dad had cancer. That was the 1st time in my 30 years I'd actually hit rock bottom and decided to talk to someone about how I actually felt. The hardest thing to do is be vulnerable like that, but it's also by far the best thing I ever did.

how do you know he wanst getting help. Maybe the help he got pushed him over the edge. You do realise antidepressants have side effects like suicide and worsening depression.

Anyone who commits suicide is a coward. They're coward for giving up on life, they're a coward for giving up on their family & they're a coward for leaving their mates to wonder why. It's a lot harder & takes more guts to live & move on in this world & to leave behind a nine year old son who from now on, can only remember a father who took his own life a day after his ninth birthday!

you have no idea what people are dealing with. you would understand if a person was being tortured psychically and they had the option to off themselves. but if it's mental you can't understand. mental pain is worse than physical. it's always a certain type of person that has this belief. usually mean people who actively make life hard for people. have some compassion.
