Going Upmarket in PALMANOVA, Mallorca? A Holiday Update

I also bring you an update on the building works taking place at the building site behind the Cas Saboners Aparthotel and we take a walk to Son Matias Beach, highlighting some cheap eats and out-of-the-way equipment hire.
Exploring Son Matias Beach, we see how busy it is, then moving onto Palmanova Beach.
I talked to a family who are staying at the Rosa del Mar about their impressions of Palmanova and whether they feel welcome in the resort following press reports claiming tourists are no longer welcome.
I speak to the beach rental manager to find out what’s going on to beach services, before heading to look at the developments at the Hotel Tropico.
We then walk around the point to check out the Britannia Jet departure times, before walking to Es Carregardor beach.
But in big news, find out which bar has closed forever on the Palmanova waterfront.

My family and I are staying at the cas saboners, we can see the cranes as our room is facing that way, all rooms face to pool. The noise is hardly anything, we heard a few bangs and see the cranes move occasionally but that's it. Doesn't bother us at all. We go home Wednesday and its not been a problem one bit.
Our daughter and family, grandchildren are in casaboners hotel right now and they are having a fantastic time, hotel amazing, pool amazing, beach amazing, weather amazing no noise or problems at all. Holidays are what you make it,

Were just back from Palmanova. We stayed in the CasSaboneers and it was great. I was worried before going about the new works and site noise but we never heard a thing. The hotel had music playing beside the pool and the place was lovely... so good I've just booked to go back again next Mey. Your videos are great and a real pleasure to watch

Enjoying the weather here in Palmanova..would say to any ladies coming over to make sure you have the clothing you'll need....i got flip flops in the U.k. that are £10 more expensive here. .I also brought over short sleeve m&s t shirts which are too thick to wear!! It's blistering hot...forget the batwings and go sleeveless!
Supermarket food,eating out and drink have really increased since we were here 3 yrs ago..
We've managed well with hire car and used our blue badge in their disabled spaces fine...
Folk as wonderful as ever....especially in the Aquasol..

This was such a sunny video that makes me really want to be over there enjoying that white powdey sand, aqua sea and sunshine. My family and I stayed in Playa cas saboners for 1 week on the 12th May 2024 we had a great holiday. You can hear slight noise from the bedroom during the day but this didnt disturb my childrens naps other than that it was fine didnt affect our holiday. I was more worried about dust as my daughter has asthma but hotel very clean and no issues with this at all.

We are in palma noba in june, sunbeds too expensive, we will just chuck a towel down if needs be. Ir buy a couple chair _,sunbeds and a sun brolly . No point spending all those euros each day, its a RIP OFF.
Also nice to see natural clouds rather than the vapour cloud seeding ttails that are often in our skies now

The last time we stayed it was the first week in October, the hotel staff said it was best to come over in May as the staff are tired and grumpy by the end of the season 🤣 Q. What's a Bali bed?

Been all over the Spanish islands many times they are unbeatable value but unfortunately like everything else today the add ons sunbeds food booze etc have gone sky high I moved to Andalusia in 2018 and the price of everything has doubled and more Spain is not cheap anymore in anyway shape or form good video 👍👍🏴🦊

Been going to Son Matias for over 35 years, and these sun bed beach prices are too high, it’s ok if they are taken away stacked up and disinfected each day. But they don’t, for 19-50€ that should be done.
Just got back yesterday from Palmanova . . Would go back tomorrow , however . . The Grillhouse ! Avoid . Just so bad .
Are pathways going to be added to the beach for disabled?
The food in the Rosa del Mar was terrible, although going there as Fully Inclusive we went out to eat, it was that bad....

Far from a 5 star resort, but has pretensions of being so.
Will be going elsewhere to actual 5 star resorts, for better value for money.
Really wouldn't advise Palmanova. Sea was full of plastic and rubbish. There was an old German man taking pictures of top less women and children which I reported to police and they did nothing but move him on. Trashy place... We made the most of it but I'd say its the worst holiday we have had by a mile.

Could you go to the taxi rank and get a snap of the prices by cab to the resorts.
Myself and my wife are heading to Sa Coma.
It's just so we can factor in the cost.
Because last time we were there, we got a coach transfer that never moved from its parking spot for 2 hours, and took 1hr 50 after that to drop us off.
I will also message Andrew (loving life mallorca) too, and see who replies first.
