Thank you for making this video! It was very helpful. I also have been thinking about getting the same cserpent rack you have. 5 pairing in the same day is awesome!
Thanks. Females are paired until they become gravid and begin laying eggs, which is usually only one time and rarely a second time. Males can be paired as many times necessary to any reasonable number of females (1-5) per week or so. They aren't as exhausted by breeding as the females get so you can use them more.
Hi, I want to start breeding soon My female weighs 40g and is about 5 months old how much does she need to grow and how much older should she be before I should breed her?
For females, it is mostly about their weight. You ideally want her to be 50 grams minimum, but since yours is only 5 months old, I would wait until 2021 to breed her so she has plenty of time to grow and develop. Breeding females too young can be dangerous to their health.
Hey Enzo! Great video! I wanted to know ho q mucha time you leve the make in with the female so they breed together? Whenever they pair once, do you remove the male, or do you leave them to pair multiple times? Thanks.
She should have some white dots in her stomach if you flip her over. If you are planning to breed her, put a male with her and see how she responds. If she is defending herself and won't mate she is likely not ovulating. During ovulation, females will also temporarily stop eating. Hope that helps:) Enzo
So my geckos were housed together (I’ve changed that now don’t worry) and I just figured out one was a male. I have no idea if they bred or not- is there a way to tell?
Once it starts ovulating. If you can't tell if it is ovulating, you can always just put a male in her enclosure to see if she is receptive and you can tell by how she responds. I hope that helps :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Cserpants is great!
Great video!!!
Thanks Ryan!
Great video 👍
How many times do you pair a male and female during the breeding season?

@@enzosgeckos ok thanks!
You deserve more subs broh!
Thank you
Great video and great info. I like your record keeping. Do you use Excel at all?
I use Google Sheets because it is free
@@enzosgeckos that makes sense.
@@SupremeGecko Do you use excel for your geckos?
@@enzosgeckos I do. I spent many years with the software and use it daily.
I definitely need to update my sheets more frequently. Have you made a video on using Excel?
Awesome videos
Thank you

Enzo’s Geckos what would you say is the age to start breeding?
Minimum 9 months of the female is up to weight and ovulating.
Always put the care of your animals before the possible hatchlings you could get from them. You want a healthy gecko laying healthy eggs
Enzo’s Geckos ok thank you for the information, and yes I will make sure to keep my geckos as safe and happy as possible
Hi- where did you get your racks for your breeders? Thanks!
I got them from Cserpants and Animal Plastics. I highly reccomend both

I remove the male after they pair and if the female is pregnant I don't repair, but if she didn't get fertilized I leave the male in for about a week
Enzo’s Geckos and how do I know if the female is fertilized?
She will have egg development and won't take the male again if you try to repair
Enzo’s Geckos ok thanks bro
It doesn’t seem to be a humidity problem what should I do I candles them and I can see the embryo
Hey Enzo nice video, how do I know if my female is ovulating? What do I do or what should I see? Please respond thanks

Enzo’s Geckos ok thank you that will very much help
No problem
Don’t leopard geckos need belly heat to digest there food properly? Surely having the heat tape on the back isn’t the best for leopard geckos?
Right, that's why I added belly heat to that rack. The previous owner had ball pythons and used back heat and I added belly heat for my geckos.
I don’t know if you’ll see this, but how do you sell your geckos?
So my geckos were housed together (I’ve changed that now don’t worry) and I just figured out one was a male. I have no idea if they bred or not- is there a way to tell?
Yes, if the female is getting larger she likely has eggs and you can look at her belly the way I did in the video to see if you have eggs :)
Can you tell me till witch month can my leopard geckos breed?
Female leopard geckos tend to ovulate any time between January to August, it is different for every breeder!
How do u know when a female leopard gecko is ready to mate
Once it starts ovulating. If you can't tell if it is ovulating, you can always just put a male in her enclosure to see if she is receptive and you can tell by how she responds. I hope that helps :)
How much do you sell your geckos for?
Message me on Instagram if you'd like to talk more about that :) @enzosgeckos
man thats kind of mest up your selling your pets that you bout
Thanks!👍👍
Please please help my leopard gecko eggs look like raisins
They are most likely infertile then. How long ago were they laid/have been incubated for?
They are 2 days off and incubated for same
So they were laid 2 days ago? Let me know the date they were laid please, that will give me a better idea if they are fertile or not.
May 16 at around 7:30
Is the container they're being incubated in humid enough? If the humidity is good it is most likely you just got infertile eggs.
