This game needs to seriously get its act together. There is currently, absolutely no reason to have a store. The only benefit it gives you, after you spend a fortune on furniture for sale slots, is the ability to have more items on display at once, and of course, this is the only way you can access the auctions. The need to haggle should be completely eliminated. That should be the ultimate perk of having a store as opposed to selling at a swap meet. You don't walk into a store and just start negotiating a price with people. That's not how that works. Once the need to negotiate it done away with, then there is no reason why you shouldn't have a cashier that can automate that process for you so that you can go pick lockers and auctions. Honestly, I saw this coming. A lot of these indie games have a promising concept that just fails to live up to the expectations. It is why I won't pay for them unless they are priced reasonably for the part of the market they make up. These are budget title games at best, they need to act like it. There is no way I am paying more than $5 for a game like this. Sorry, that is all it is worth.
For whatever it’s worth, I completely understand why you decided to quit. If it’s too much of an unrelenting grind with no end in sight, that’s not fun. They have a good idea for a game, but it’s not worth it to play something that is that infuriating. I hope they improve it so you can come back, but either way, thanks for the series.
Finally,👍A content creator who is not a sellout! I'm so glad you pushed this to the side, I agree with the reasoning, It's logical. Once you have a store the bartering(Haggling) Should reduce dramatically and people should not be able to offer less than 30 percent of the LISTED price, and should not be able to haggle beneath the low-end price, the control is completely out of whack the vehicle is possessed and the wages are too high, plus the traffic is terribly low. you were only going to eat yourself into debt, the game needs work and quality-of-life fixes. It was shoddy and rushed, in my opinion: and yeah why was that cargo door on the side of the building but not on the inside? Was it a mistake or was it trying to show how the building was terribly renovated?
At least you know now that the store is pointless. If you were to start over you now know... don't get the3rd warehouse upgrade and don't buy the store. Hopefully the devs will fix these issues.
If a store had a sign that said "no barter," that means they will only accept money for their products, not more products. That is what barter is. Negotiating over a price is haggling or bargaining, not barter. Barter is trading good for good without money. You may have been to many different places, but unless you tried to bargain with them, you don't know if they would accept it or not. You always have the option to pay what is marked on the price tag... but that doesn't mean you can't try for a better deal. I've negotiated over prices at a number of places in different states in the USA, including "regular" electronics stores (not used parts). Pawn shops? Of course. You just need to talk to someone who has the authority to haggle. The other customers in any of these places may have thought the prices listed on the tags were firm, but it turns out they weren't. You only find out if that is the case if you ask, and you have to do it the right way.
@@eduardopena5893 are you agreeing or disagreeing with him? cause the literal definition of barter is "an act of trading goods or services between two or more parties without the use of money"
@@eduardopena5893 no the word stays the same in English regardless of what country you goto just because you know a bunch of people using it wrong doesn't mean its "right" bargaining and barter are two different things do people use them interchangeable? Yeah, man. I live in the U.S. and even I agree that barter is a different beast then bargaining or haggling. That's the problem, though, people these days use words incorrectly and then just want to change the definitions of things eilly-nilly to suit their tastes. Yes, languages evolve over time, but that doesn't mean 'Use word wrong = new definition' That said, this game has (or at least had) major issues with core systems.
It is most important that you enjoy your game play over playing something you're not having fun in. It for sure reflects in the video if you're not having fun and it becomes less enjoyable to watch overall. I'm glad you understand when you need to stop playing something rather than push yourself to keep going for the viewers.
In North African countries bargaining prices is the norm but if you try to bargain in stores ANYWHERE in Spain, you would instantly be kicked out no doubt. The fact that you can go to stores in America or somewhere in Europe baffles me so hard, not coming anywhere in the 1st world at all.

Don't worry Grill, I hope the rest of the community understands this game reaches a point it's not fun anymore, sadly there are a lot of games that has that same problem, just watching it happening again and again where someone offers half price and doesn't budge into a reasonable price also reaches a moment it's not fun to watch either. So yeah, use your time reasonably and drop this game.

You should just stay with the smaller store first until you go to auction. BIG Profits to get from there. Buy a few painting then sell them. 10 K for a couple paintings. Also if you save before going to the auction and don't win just go back to the main menu and try again. I'm about to retire from the game I got $147 K and a couple cars on my lot to sell still. It's still early and I hope they improve things like being able to paint the shops and do flooring.
