Long theory on Crying Child New Theory! I saw a post saying that Henry's wife left him for William. At first this seems kind of crazy, but maybe it's true. They likely would know eachother well as Henry and William worked together so much. We discover in the books Henry is upset after not only Charlotte is Murdered but also because of his wife's disappearance. Another important detail is that she takes their son with her. So perhaps Henry's wife fooled around with William when they first started working together, making the crying child potentially William's (Raised as Henry's child). Then when Charlotte died and Henry shut his wife out, she ran back to William. This makes sense for a few reasons First of all, the TV show cut scenes in SISTER location "The Immortal and Restless" speak of a man and his mistress (William and Henry's wife). They are arguing about her child as she says that the Vampire (william) is the father. This show plays every night when Michael gets home from work in Sister location. This could be representing the events that took place at the Afton family household ( also explains why Michael was such a bully to his illegitimate brother) This solves for one thing that has always bugged me. Why William would lure his own son to the Fazbear restaurant to die? (mat pat mentions why this doesn't make sense in a video) William lured the crying child to the restaurant but it wasn't his child, it was Henry's. He could have done this because he didn't believe the crying child was truly his, he didn't want to be a father again. (the vampire in the show complains that he is too old to be a dad). Matpat later suggest that Yellow/Orange guy is Henry! This leads me to the next part of this theory. Henry designed 'psychic' fredbear to watch his son (crying child) after his wife took him away. This is why Fredbear was always warning the crying child about getting close to the animatronics and why his text was orange/yellow. He also promises to put the crying child back together just as Henry did to Charlotte. This also makes sense because it could give William motive to kill Charlotte (Henry's daughter). There had never been any real motive for this first kill, perhaps Charlotte saw something she shouldn't have (William being intimate with Henry's wife) so it had to be dealt with. This theory makes more sense than the house in fnaf 4 mini games being Henry's house, as Henry would not take his own child to a Fazbear at the time after William murdered his Charlotte there. Also- the sister location tv shows must have lore meaning.... but sofar they haven't been used to solve anything. No, it doesn't answer his name or if he is in golden Freddie, but it does answer some of the things that have bugged me about the series. TLDR: Henrys wife cheating on him with William. Crying child is William's son Biologically, but Henry raised him (until Henry and his wife split up).
Is Glitchtrap *really* William Afton? Warning: This is a pretty long one. New Theory! Okay, so this is something I've been thinking about for a while now. Something that never made sense to me. In the time leading up to Help Wanted, we had been shown the image of many different animatronics fused (or melted) together. It was a piece of imagery that never really fit into the actual game other than it being a bunch of different games in one. Then, I remembered the end of Fnaf 6. In it, the animatronics all go down in a supposedly final blaze of glory, freeing the souls, and ending this chapter. But, what if it didn't? If you recall, William Afton discovered a kind of 'Soul Matter' called 'Remnant', which allowed him to fuse childrens' souls and inject them into animatronics, like in Candy Cadet's stories. They all involved taking different things and making them one, then putting them into some container. Well, what I'm thinking is that, since he had to melt the remnant to inject it, that means it must be able to stand extreme temperatures. Which brings us to the end of Fnaf 6. They all burn, heating them up to an extreme degree. But, what if all this did was melt the animatronics' souls together? Henry probably wouldn't know anything about remnant, so, if it was him that burned down the pizarrea, then he could have accidentally made all the animatronics one being! Think about Glitchtrap. He's a virus uploaded into Help Wanted, possibly through a mess of parts delivered to the game dev's door, and wishes to take control of your mind. But, in the Pizza Party ending, he lures you into the back room in a Golden Bonnie suit, brings you on stage, and puts you into an animatronic. But, why? What could he have to gain from that? Well, what it wasn't Afton, but, instead, it was ALL of the animatronics' souls fused, made into a program, and is now showing you the last thing the originals saw before their Doom? What if they want you to switch places with them, for you to be the one on stage, and for them to be free, dancing? What if the parts that the game devs found were actually the parts that had melted together, including the remnant? My theory is that the children have concocted a plan to take control of your mind through VR. They did it to Tape Girl, who has tricked you into putting him into a plushie, so he could remain safe, while she enacted the plan in a white rabbit suit. Anyone else notice how Tape Girl sounds a lot like Reluctant Follower? And, think about it. She doesn't sound all that reluctant. But, what if she had been taken control of by Glitchtrap, and this wasn't actually what she wanted to do? A little off topic, but a nice thought. Dreadbear is a confusing character. They named a dlc after him, but he does almost nothing! Well, what is Dreadbear, or Frankenstein's Monster, for that matter? They are a bunch of different parts put together into one container. Like the remnant, like Candy Cadet's stories, and like the teaser for the original game. The Parts and Service minigame is symbolic of William's experiments with remnant, his attempts to bring life to an empty vessel, through INJECTING FLUIDS into a brain and putting into Dreadbear. Then, what about Glitchtrap's grave? Well, Im not as sure about it, because it's really hard to tell, but I could see animatronics flashing in his grave. Then, looming over it all, is Dreadbear. Besides. Golden Freddy had William Afton, and wasn't letting go. He's in Hell, not a Glitchsuit. Now, I'm not entirely sure on this one. I've put a lot of thought into this though, and I'd be greatful for any feedback. This is my first time coming out with a theory, so I'll be glad to hear what you have to say!
@Shulkey no, u r. Burntrap is also a AI version of William. Still, William is in hell being tortured during the events of security breach, the new game. So, like glitchtrap, burntrap is an AI version, someone-or something- else is being burntrap. Anyone have a theory about that?

There is more to the right side other than challenges. There’s offices(there’s more than 4 of the offices from the original UCN), there’s a shop where you can get skins, a Music Select screen where you can select the music to play during your night, and checking the settings will be helpful if need to know the controls or just have fun choosing a custom menu
A question regarding Michael Afton & the crying child So most of the theories about these 2 characters have agreed that they are separate characters. Fine, all good. However, my question is: when did Matpat started to go with this direction? I remembered that he used to claimed Michael is the crying child for a while, but in the recent videos he said otherwise. It's been a while since I last watched FNAF theories so I want to make sure that I'm remembering it correctly. I want to binge watch all the theories back to back but there are a lot of them now and I don't have that much time anymore. Is Glitchtrap *really* William Afton? Warning: This is a pretty long one.
New Theory!
Okay, so this is something I've been thinking about for a while now. Something that never made sense to me. In the time leading up to Help Wanted, we had been shown the image of many different animatronics fused (or melted) together. It was a piece of imagery that never really fit into the actual game other than it being a bunch of different games in one. Then, I remembered the end of Fnaf 6. In it, the animatronics all go down in a supposedly final blaze of glory, freeing the souls, and ending this chapter. But, what if it didn't?
If you recall, William Afton discovered a kind of 'Soul Matter' called 'Remnant', which allowed him to fuse childrens' souls and inject them into animatronics, like in Candy Cadet's stories. They all involved taking different things and making them one, then putting them into some container. Well, what I'm thinking is that, since he had to melt the remnant to inject it, that means it must be able to stand extreme temperatures. Which brings us to the end of Fnaf 6. They all burn, heating them up to an extreme degree. But, what if all this did was melt the animatronics' souls together? Henry probably wouldn't know anything about remnant, so, if it was him that burned down the pizarrea, then he could have accidentally made all the animatronics one being!
Think about Glitchtrap. He's a virus uploaded into Help Wanted, possibly through a mess of parts delivered to the game dev's door, and wishes to take control of your mind. But, in the Pizza Party ending, he lures you into the back room in a Golden Bonnie suit, brings you on stage, and puts you into an animatronic. But, why? What could he have to gain from that? Well, what it wasn't Afton, but, instead, it was ALL of the animatronics' souls fused, made into a program, and is now showing you the last thing the originals saw before their Doom? What if they want you to switch places with them, for you to be the one on stage, and for them to be free, dancing? What if the parts that the game devs found were actually the parts that had melted together, including the remnant? My theory is that the children have concocted a plan to take control of your mind through VR. They did it to Tape Girl, who has tricked you into putting him into a plushie, so he could remain safe, while she enacted the plan in a white rabbit suit. Anyone else notice how Tape Girl sounds a lot like Reluctant Follower? And, think about it. She doesn't sound all that reluctant. But, what if she had been taken control of by Glitchtrap, and this wasn't actually what she wanted to do? A little off topic, but a nice thought.
Dreadbear is a confusing character. They named a dlc after him, but he does almost nothing! Well, what is Dreadbear, or Frankenstein's Monster, for that matter? They are a bunch of different parts put together into one container. Like the remnant, like Candy Cadet's stories, and like the teaser for the original game. The Parts and Service minigame is symbolic of William's experiments with remnant, his attempts to bring life to an empty vessel, through INJECTING FLUIDS into a brain and putting into Dreadbear. Then, what about Glitchtrap's grave? Well, Im not as sure about it, because it's really hard to tell, but I could see animatronics flashing in his grave. Then, looming over it all, is Dreadbear.
Besides. Golden Freddy had William Afton, and wasn't letting go. He's in Hell, not a Glitchsuit.
Now, I'm not entirely sure on this one. I've put a lot of thought into this though, and I'd be greatful for any feedback. This is my first time coming out with a theory, so I'll be glad to hear what you have to say!

A question regarding Michael Afton & the crying child
So most of the theories about these 2 characters have agreed that they are separate characters. Fine, all good. However, my question is: when did Matpat started to go with this direction? I remembered that he used to claimed Michael is the crying child for a while, but in the recent videos he said otherwise. It's been a while since I last watched FNAF theories so I want to make sure that I'm remembering it correctly. I want to binge watch all the theories back to back but there are a lot of them now and I don't have that much time anymore. If anyone know when he changed his opinion or in which video, please tell me.
