    Thanks guys! I just found you after reconnecting with the game this month. Great video series for me as a novice to pickup and understand basic deck building in AH LCG. I am very happy with all the videos I have seen that you have made and especially with this series. Last night I used your lists to make the Wendy, Zoey, and Daisy decks from my Revised Core Set and Dunwich Investigators box. Thanks again!

    This was super helpful. Been really struggling with getting a good Daisy deck going with just a single core and Dunwich, so ordered my second. Just having one 'Old Book of Lore' is brutal.
    Planning on getting the cycles in order so gonna keep coming back to these videos each time I progress. Thanks for the insight.

    I hadn't played Daisy since Dunwich. It's crazy how powerful she's become, partially from the additional tomes, but also just from the options.

    I’ve been watching all these. I’m a novice at this game but since COVID I’ve used it as an opportunity to play 2 handed solo games. I want to build a Silas Marsh deck and was hoping you will do him soon in a video; his mechanic really intrigued me. Thanks for all the cool videos! Subscribed!

    This past weekend I had the weird opportunity to use Monstrous Transformation on Daisy Walker - she wound up with it in her deck through a weird twist of fate. She was stuck by herself way too far away from any rescue when a nightgaunt showed up and threatened to kill her right quick, so - there was no other choice - ROAR! Tank Librarian time!
    I decided that she kept the name Daisy and she put a flower over her ear to remind her of her lost humanity 🙂

    You should look up St. Hubert's Key, they did their homework on it.

    I would like to see them share solo decks of these characters too. Been trying to make a solo deck for her. But struggling heavily to make a successful one with 1 core set

      We're not too knowledgeable in solo play, but we'll look at making some decks for them in the future.

      @@PlayingBoardGames That would be greatly appreciated. Especially during this pandemic where often stuck to do solo play :)

      for true solo seeker you'll need an easy enemy management option! Strange Solution (Acidic version) is quite good but you won't have it for the first scenario and it will cost you 8xp to get both! Other than that there's now a lot of cards that let you attack with your intelec (they are all events so one off but it's better than nothing!) Once you have your 2 upgraded strange solution every seeker can do well in true solo! Also if you are fast enough you might see very few enemies from the encounter deck! And seekers have the ability to find clues easily with a lot of movement tricks!

      I've been trying a Daisy Walker solo deck for The Night of the Zealot. I have 2 core sets, and Return to TNotZ, but that's all so far. I'll be picking up Dunwich Legacy soon (I already have the first mythos pack, but it's not in play for sleeving reasons).
      I went for the mystic offence cards like Shrivelling and Blinding Light and didn't bother with Magnifiying Glass or Flashlight as Daisy's intellect (book stat) is pretty solid on its own. I'll possibly post up the deck I last used on arkhamdb and link here. Long story short, the deck could ace The Gathering, do fairly well at Midnight Masks (two cultists... best I've ever achieved in solo or two player), but the final scenario just seems unachievable. I've tried this on Standard. On Expert, The Gathering is still very doable, bu Midnight Masks gets mega-hard (understandably). After some experimentation with the difficulty level, I have a feeling that Hard and Expert are really not fun with a solo deck (well, a Daisy solo deck, at least).
      After watching the above video, I now wonder if playing to Daisy's strength and going for a swift investigation approach would actually work. I have a feeling there would be too many things that the scenarios require you to do for success that this deck wouldn't be able to do.

    what cards to swap if you have only one core set?

  • @1stimaginist

    For weakness ‘the necronomicon’ card, Can another player take the action to move the horror to Daisy Walker? Or only Daisy herself can do so.

    • @The_VanDal
      @The_VanDal ปีที่แล้ว

      i know it's a very late response, but no. Normally you can interact with another player's treachery if it's in their threat area (like Roland's Cover Up or Skids' Hospital Debts) but in the case of Daisy, the Necronomicon is an asset and therefore belongs to her and her alone, so other players cannot interact with it

    For clarity, are you using two of the original box Core Sets or two of the revised box Core Sets?

    • @PlayingBoardGames
      @PlayingBoardGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      Two of the original core sets. Revised core sets weren't out when we recorded this video. No need for two Revised core sets!

    This deck is for research only…what if I want to play her true solo?

    • @PlayingBoardGames
      @PlayingBoardGames  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are running this true solo, you'll want consistent ways of dealing with enemies. This could be mystic evade spells, seeker kill spells, or other tools that can help Daisy stop enemies that show up.

      @@alessandromassi3659 I'd cut the Flashlights and the Drawn to the Flames for those. One thing with Shriveling to be aware of is that your brain isn't great, so it won't be super dependable, so hold back your Guts and Unexpected Courages for that when able.
