Both my parents are from Lefkada and I have spent several summers there. Scorpio was actually owned by Aristotle Onassis (currently owned by some Russian oligarch). You should check out Vassiliki next time you visit which has one of the best windsurfing beaches in Europe. Was a godsend because it was only 10 min from the village where mum was born (we stayed in mum's parents home in Evgiros when we visited) as there isn't much in the way of sport to do on the island.
My favourite Greek island, going there for the third time soon. I see a Ukrainian flag on the boat you`ve rented, the flag of my country. Interesting, why it was there, together with a Greek one

We went around late October/early November, which I believe is usually slow season for them. Almost airbnbs are using dynamic pricing so during the summer they charge 3-4x as much because the demand is so much higher
yeah we went in november so maybe thats why. Someone told us the prices during summer and warmer months, and we were shocked! We got super lucky with the seasonal pricing
@@catandmarcos November starts to get cold before the onset of winter, which is even colder with occasional snow. Now I understand the price. Yes the summer is much more expensive as I’ve experienced. That home is already booked for early June this year.
@@josephj6521 when we were there though, it wasn’t cold. Chilly in the morning and evening but hot during the day so i really think it was the perfect time to go
lmao, I know! It was a combination of being exhausted and in a rush so we had to just throw our things down and get our day started, I promise we will try and be better
Part 2 coming soon! So many videos coming out soon ❤

@@catandmarcos thank you
What month did you go? Weather and sea temps?
this was late October, the weather ranged from low 60's to high 70's (F); and the water temp was around 70-75 degrees F
I checked the airb&b you linked and it said for 5 days in end of June = 430 euros per day. When did you go to get the 150 euro price?

You’ve got me convinced, I’m going
yessss!
is it touristic? this island
when we were there, not at all! I don't know how it is in the summer but it really did feel a lot more local than it did touristy
You must’ve gone in the quiet season? That accommodation each night is US $575 per night. $150 per night, how?
