Nice! Yep, it pays to confirm things, because occasionally you might have misjudged. I have! I do have Denton 8 and that's a pretty nice scent. I did pull the trigger on the copper Stando Leshy. I think I spelled that wrong. We'll see, it's an aggressive razor, but I've heard it's really smooth. Have a great one Dave!
Bluegrass , spicebomb shave! Yes, great scent. A fall favorite for me. I have been pairing the PdP 63 puck with this scent. I will get that Deton 8....find Rods homages really good and great value. It's the Deton 8 strongly scented?
RE: mosquitoes. My wife is like you, any biting insect goes for her, and I walk along unmolested for the most part, even it I am quite a bit taller (supposedly bugs go for taller people?!)
@@daveinky thanks for the reply Dave. I also wanted to ask, how long do you prefer to use a blade for (I remember that your favourite is Wizamet which is quite durable in my experience)? Do you prefer to trash them say after a week or use them till they nudge the tug.
@@okiedokie_cool I use until it feels uncomfortable and again never really pay attention to how long that's been. Since I switch razors so frequently it's hard to remember how many shaves I had on a particular blade when I switch it since I don't move a blade from razor to razor generally.
Excellent shave Dave! Makes me think I could be missing something concerning the Sabre. Thanks for sharing and have a good week buddy!!
@@okieshaver997 Thanks, unsure myself still. Going to use my Micromatic tomorrow to see if the Sabre is that much better or not....
Thanks very much Dave. It's always nice watching your shaves, and even though everyone's mileage varies, there is still very useful information.
@@CallMeDblOSeven Thanks James....... I mean Mike 😉👍
Great shave Dave! Have a good weekend!
@@bwmacho9461 Thanks BW, you too 👍

Thanks Ian and hope the Stando is a good fit for you 👍
@@daveinky Sure I'll let you know and after I get some time on it, I could loan it to you so you can take it for a spin.

Nice shave Dave. A daily shaver here as well.
As a daily shaver, do you consciously prefer using a close comb over an open comb?
@@okiedokie_cool I use either one without giving it much thought. Just whatever the mood suits that day. Thanks and have a great day 👍
