Followed your video but the trunk still wouldn’t close 😢I don’t know why it’s not working , the new mechanism was opening and closing but would not catch on the bottom part

@@airkatmama4I wonder if the tension on the cable is too tight causing it to leave it in the open position. Or the metal bar it hooks onto on the bottom isn’t lined up right

Thanks for the video man! but i gotta ask, i did the exact same thing and works perfect opening with the controller and with the hand lever but when I try to open the trunk inserting the key it doesn't turn, what could have happened? Thanks!

There’s the little metal rod that goes from the key lock over to the latch. Maybe that came off

What if the ring that latch holds on to falls off. I tried fixing it and the bolts won’t hold anymore. I think the nuts fell behind
