ok I'm just gonna list the recommendations I took from this video: - everything I never told you - salt slow - slaughterhouse 5 (its synopsis and your enthusiasm for it have made me very excited to read it) - The menu - Forgotten And generally, reading the original works of the bsd authors is definitely on my to-do list
I'm at the beginning of the video where you told us about your Notion page and now I have spent at least 30 minutes looking at everything, and by seeing your page on mdzs (which i'd love to hear your analysis of it, as it is one of my favorite bl novels) and now i think one of my goals is to up my annotation game on notion, because this is truly helpful in keeping tabs on every character/theme without having to endless scroll to find a specific piece of info.
Just came across this channel, came for the analysis stayed for the witty comments lmao. I'm definitely adding some of these to my TBR list for 2024, btw I highly recommend Blue Eye Samurai if you haven't watched it yet - it is rated mature but omg I ate it all up
I‘ve read julia armfields other work called „our wives under the sea“ and its been in my mind ever since tbh. The way she writes these really unsettling atmospheres is so so great i wish i could read that book for the first time.
This video is amazing!! Im just gonna leave my list here too my 2023 list : July - December (i was real busy the first 7 months of this year) *Books* bsd vol.1:osamu dazai's entrance exam bsd vol. 2: dark era bsd vol.3: the untold origins of the detective agency bsd vol.4: 55 minutes bsd vol.5: dead apple (also the manga version) bsd vol.6: beast (also the manga version) bsd vol.7: fifteen bsd vol.8 stormbringer bsd: another story (gaiden) (a lot of bsd i know, im obsessed) No longer human Sherlock holmes (on going, almost done with the first vol) *Manga* Bungo stray dogs *Anime* - Oshi No Ko - Vinland Saga - the Case Study of Vanitas - darker than black - Moriarty the Patriot -Bungo Stray Dogs - Jujutsu Kaisen *Movies* Dead apple- bungo stray dogs howl’s moving castle Im gonna probably read the fan fics you've mentioned.. they look really interesting! :D
and if you ever read this, i would like to know if you have read, nicanor parra’s works, and if you have if you enjoyed them. I’m not anyone major in your life, so it would be foolish to go into a book by my word alone. He writes peotry that is very much his comment and criticism of the society of Chile at the time (as he was from Chile). His books have a great and new rhythm to me and i think you would like it too.
I do not know if you have already read it, but the Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous manga seems to be your cup of tea, judging from the types of media you seem to like. It has an anime that is also really good, but I feel like the manga is a lot more focused on the psychological aspects of the symbolism than the anime.
Could you please higher the volume of your video's the next time you upload? 🙏🙏 i have my volume up to the highest but ur volume is still quite low... thankyouu
My dad is a huge fan of Kurt Vonnegut and tried to get me to read slaughterhouse V when I was 11 or 12 and it was really hard for me to get into so I never finished it. I’m older now and am tempted to give it another try after hearing your takes on it 🫶🏽
an hour long video from my fav media analyst? this is a great new year's treat!😍✨
I live to serve 🫶

Could you please higher the volume of your video's the next time you upload? 🙏🙏 i have my volume up to the highest but ur volume is still quite low... thankyouu
Over an hour to list all the books and movies she read, that seems a little excessive…
“And fanfictions.”
Oh yeah, me too then.
That notion page is free treasure 😭🩷🩷
