Cross - the 15y vs 30y argument has a lot to do with your goals and interest rates. I have a 1% mortgage for 30y, I have 0 incentive to pay it off early, it’s free money. Low interest debt on an asset is the best kind. The spare money in your pocket should go into a different investment, not into paying off a house early.
