    That's so awesome nice. If you lived in Fresno or Clovis California all that stuff will be fenced off with a giant no trespassing sign there is no where to drive in Fresno or Clovis unless you go out of town congratulations to you guys I just wish I had better places to drive cuz I love the crawler sport. I guess I just need to move. This town sucks anyways

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m sorry to hear that. Over here in In SoCal, most parks are open and free to crawl as long as we are courteous to hikers and horses. Of course I heard some horror stories about park rangers giving hard time to some guys but there are alway someone who hates life and can’t watch others being happy. ☹️

    Nice course, looks pretty challenging, some nice technical elements to it. Pays to have a low centre of gravity! Cool video, liked and subbed 👍

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yes! Low center of gravity is the mantra of the crawling competition! My new c2 truck is very low and drags everywhere so it’s quite difficult to crawl around but it’s more stable when things go sideways.

      Custom truck based on Gspeed v3 chassis with scx10 and 10.2 axles. The truck was strictly built for performance ( weak scale points ) and it crawled like a spider

    • @slopppy75

      Yes they were in different classes the trouble was SD guys could provide 3 courses for all 4 classes to run. That’s why you were seeing c3 trucks running the same course as c1 and c2 trucks. Thank you for watching.

    Other than Craigslist, any recommendations on where to sale my RC stuff?

    • @KPhobbies1
      @KPhobbies1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well you could just give it to me I'm like a foster parent for broken or old RC cars. Or maybe let go possibly if you have a local hobby shop that will sell on consignment it just depends on what you have good luck to you sir. But you should fix them and drive them and possibly keep them for your children if you have them

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Facebook is great place to sell. You must join the local group and that can help you sell your RC stuff. Also I like selling it on eBay. Sometimes I get more than what I can get locally even after a frees and shipping.

    Anyone in your comp running crossrc? I'm building up a
    demon sp4 c to jump into the game, it's looking pretty capable. Just curious thanks..

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Steven Roll CrossRC is more scale oriented like RC4WD. Not saying they can’t be competitive but I haven’t seen one that excelled in the comp scene. It usually better looking rig = top heavy = not great at comp. there are builders who can defy that equation tho...

    A course totally made for four wheel steering. Not cool.

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The trucks with rear steers were class 3 and they got scored in their class separately. We usually build 2 to 4 courses per class 1,2 and 3 but this particular event, all 3 classes ran on the same course. Also, it was driveable without rear steer. Not easy, but doable. Thanks for the comment

    This is more of comp crawling competition... none of these crawlers are even scale...... or would be street legal.... I’m disappointed... the only one that was close was the truggy in the beginning...

    • @glenramsey73

      This is something someone would say if they lack the ability, creativity, driving skills,fabrication skills and of course the funds to make a rig more capable and fun than a boring old plain Jane 100 percent scale rig !! Yukk my wraith would make your head explode!! Ssd 2 speed ,dx5pro radio with all of the telemetry hooked up quad steer ,double savox sa1230s,steel alloy axles built with 100percent vanquish parts ,stainless steel vanquish steering links front and rear ,licensed rock crawler 4 links vanquish incision drive shafts, castle mamba x waterproof 6s esc with castle brushed crawler motor ,8 king offroad shocks, hot racing sway bars front and rear, 3 vanquish ridged licensed light bars ,billet 2.2s with proline flat irons ,bgr customs rock sliders, hot racing bottom skid with roller bearings, all integy billet suspension supports and cross members and a spectrum fpv crawler cam in drivers seat, running on gens ace 3s 100c 8000mah batterys I could go on and on but the point is i built the absolute craziest thing i could out of a wraith and honestly i can't seem to get it stuck 95 percent of the time it literally will conquer any obstacle with ease most of the time and I can switch it into 2nd gear and cancel rear steer and it hauls ass ,jumps and hits corners pretty fast ,pulls wheelies, and it can do a full blown hurricane doughnut using quad steer it spins it a perfect tiny circle so fast that you can no longer tell what it is because it's just a blur like a top !! This is fun !! Putting around with a top heavy slow boring scale rig just isn't any fun so set your sights towards building an unstoppable monster and I promise you watching it do endless feats of impossible things will change your entire point of view I could literally run over a scale rig while it was attempting to climb something and keep going lol

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      curiouskitten it is unfortunate to disappoint you. Scale competition is evolving and trucks becoming more and more capable. While it’s a toy truck, we still have to obey the law of physics and personally, it impresses me whenever I see someone build something that almost challenges that law. There were more scale and less capable trucks(class 1) in this competition and it will be in the next video. You might find that more appealing.

    • @slopppy75
      @slopppy75  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glen Ramsey that sounds like a beast! Great job with the build!
