- Hi guys. So I moved from Nigeria to the UK alone and I vlogged the whole journey. I traveled with Qatar Airways and the trip was so smooth. I also carried an extra 23kg luggage via their student membership card. I got a free hotel stay at Oryx Garden hotel at Doha International Airport, Qatar.

Quick question yeah… were you allowed to carry a school bag after your check in luggage of 7kg? Also was Ghana must go still allowed?
Yes I carried a school bag and a hand luggage. Yes, you can use ghana must go, but you have to wrap it at the airport because they might ask you to open it for them to check.

Pls I have a question, I am a student club member registered and I have booked and in the ticket,it is showing only Adult 2 23kg and 1 7kg only allowed
How do I get additional one?
and in there website it say additional 10kg bag not 23
Just print the student membership card and take it to the airport and they will let you carry the luggage.
You can carry 3 23kg boxes with the 10kg bag and also a carry on bag like a back pack. That is what I did.

I am aware of the 3 23kg bag already but I thought for the hand luggage, it's just 7kg that is allowed with maybe like your handbag or school bag? Or does this depend on the ticket you buy? if it does please which of them did you get? Please kindly reply as I want to book my flight ticket so I know how to pack my things. Thank you so much babe.

You register on Qatar airways website. Search for Qatar Airways Student membership sign up. Then fill in your details.
You need to show proof that you are a student so you have to upload your CAS or acceptance letter.
