Mashallah May Allah bless you , you are amazing urselves but ur parents r amazing too they trust u and ur sis not like my parents they forced me into marriage then , they destroyed my entire life asking advice from there brothers and sisters when they couldn’t use there own brains or ask me , alhumdullillah got divorced married with my choice blessed with 2 beautiful children and still my parents are not happy and don’t want to be happy with my happiness as I was married in the family , but anyways happy for you and your parents may god bless you and please remember me in your prayers , love u loads xx❤️
Zahra Babeszz i honestly understand you sister, ive just turned 18 and my dad (my mum and dad live separate because he treated my mum like absolute shit he would verbally physically an mentally abuse her that she ended up with a brain heaomarrage. They were also cousins btw) is pestering me about marrying his drunkard nephew in pakistan, hes been sending people and far relatives to "persuade" me. He actually wanted me to marry him wen i was 16 but alhamdulillah the british authorities got involved however now that im 18 hes starting this. Im so happy that ur in a good place now tho! May Allah swt give you and ur beautiful a happy life in this life and the hereafter! Ameen. Btw families like mine and urs think that its "bad" to get married to a person of our choice, but its not about their happiness, its about ours!
jajoh Khanz I agree it just depresses me that I haven’t done anything wrong and the way I miss my parents it’s so hard, but certainly the do not know because they’ve never been there for me they used to go to there brothers and sisters rather than asking me what I wanted as I had to spend the rest of my life with a certain person and not remarry over and over again when a marriage that I wasn’t happy with wouldnt of worked and plus when in families like this follow strict religious things don’t get me wrong it’s right when they are saying something that is haram and Halal in Islam but when it comes to marriage they do not say that it is haram to force your child to marry a person that they don’t want to ,but alhumdullillah I’m so happy .My parents weren’t there for me yesterday and They are not here for me today . My life my death my happiness is all in Allahs hands because he is the one I ❤️ and he is the one to guide ... Alhumdullillah 🙏
Zahra Babeszz sister you should always remember that in Islam you have to love and care about your parents I heard that once a Shaba went to the Prophet peace be upon him and said can I go to war and the prophet replied do you have old parents and the Shaba replied yes the prophet then said you shall not go to war but you shall do and help you old parents
So you should always love and care for parents because they raised you to read this comment and your mother kept you in her womb for 9 months and then when through the pain of giving birth to you and you wouldn’t like it if your children said they hate etc so please sister always love you parents

I was in slightly similar situation but thankfully my mum backed me up and I got out of the situation. Sometimes you got to do your own thing and your parents will eventually back u on it. Good luck
