Good luck with publishing your poetry!! I just started researching and writing my first book, it's hard but I think it will be worth it! This month I want to have all my lore prepared so I can really focus on writing the actual story!
Do you have a library card? You always talk about buying books to read them but the library might have shorter holds. Even Scribd (subscription) might have the audio or ebooks too. They might not be avaliable by the time you want to read the books but they can be good options too.
I do! I've looked for Fourth Wing and it had HUNDREDS of holds 🙃 I also kind of avoid ebooks because I already spend too much time looking at screens. Sometimes I do audiobooks but I get too distracted with them haha. But generally I check the library before buying! :)
Hi Kayla, your plans sound good :) I'm super excited for Preptober and NaNoWriMo!! In November I'll be writing a Adult/Supernatural/Horror/LGBTQIA+ story and a lot of prepping will be done in October :) Also I know the feeling, when ideas just fly to you and you want to work on them super badly :P I just had ideas for four new novels within the past three weeks. I'm coming along on draft two of current book. If I finish it by end-October, maybe I'll do something new. But it's hard when you've got some good momentum to shift to a new project...
I am very interest in your preptober content 🎉 and wish you good luck with your poetry collection. My original goal was to write a couple chapters more in my ongoing project but ..... since today morning I drafting a new project. That was completly unplanned but the first chapters I can see them in my head. Every dialogue, every action, every why she doing what she is doing, so I decied to write it out. Maybe I will come back to my original procet tomorrow. We will see....😮😂

Totally get this! you could always be a NaNo rebel and count words towards your second draft!
