I lived in Israel from 1960-75 and knew my way around in Tel-Aviv. 2009 i was totaly lost. Not even the gps could help me. But i love Israel with all my heart. When i get there it is my home.
The country boomed after the 1980s when most of the conflict calmed down with the end of the war in Lebanon, therefore less money was spent on the military and more money properly rebuilding Tel Aviv from the Six Day War in 1967.
