What ignition would you recommend to a athena racing 70cc and milled crankcase and 24pwk and scr 70 exhaust. Do i leave it on OEM ignition or mvt dd or mvt millenium?

Hi I bought a YX yin xiang 150cc (e-start) engine. On the cylinder block it says 160cm3. I was told that it has a 60mm piston & a 57mm stroke. I orig. thought it was DC as the previous 130cc yx engine. I bought a DC cdi for it but it stalls. I wastold by a mechanic that the stator is no good. I have a DC electric system. What is a good 100 watt stator/rectifier combo? Can I keep the DC cdi or must I change it to AC?
If you have ac stator, its very simple to connect! Buy 5pin cdi and wiring kit. You need Green(earth), Black/red(cdi power) and White/blue(impulse) from stator and connect them to the wiring kit, yellow and black to coil.
Aww.. but you forgot to tell about all the benefits of the millennium like keeping the starter, and two keyways so you can upgrade from analog to digital. Inner rotors are cool when you are sitting still or when the cluch is pulled in. At revs with a load it takes .01hp to spin a little flywheel. Remember physics class, an object in motion likes to stay in motion. Makes zero sense from a performance stand point on a scooter as a geared motor could cut a few 1/10s on the track when shifting if he knew what to do, and then there is the weight, (again only noticed on the track) Only REAL gains are by having different map, curves, and programability. But hey, let the kids push start their bike to sound cool sitting still. 😎

Currently waiting to hear back from TCR Cristofolini Racing on a kit for my build. I know I spoke with you guys about the Bidalot 96, but I am wanting to cover my bases before sending in my carters and making the commitment. Hoping to see a real 30hp at the wheel and still be streetable.

I have a mechanic to set everything up, however DO YOU HAVE a compatible MVT a/c stator for yx160cc engine.

On the cvt bikes the starters are not effected by the stator system. Not many derbi/am6 style bikes around here in USA being built
