I’m a tad late to comment, but thank you for a truly beautiful piece of music I have recently started trench crusade, and it’s a really fun tabletop game. I’d love to imagine this kinda of somber yet strangely hopeful music plays whilst those of my Trench Pilgrims (The Brotherhood of St.Bavo of Ghent) march in their struggle to free the wretched and chained of the heretical forces. Please keep up the great music!
This is awesome. So grim... you can almost feel dust and smoke in the air and see miles of scorched earth in front of you. It's almost depressing, but at 1:55 you realise that the Principality of New Antioch is still standing and you must still take another step and fight. Truly magnificent piece of music. Would love to hear a 1h version of it!
I picture the clanging as the sound of Shrine Anchorites marching into battle, the prayerful wail of those entombed within mixing with the beating of war drums. As we march through mud caked in 800 years of blood, I can't help but think of Romans 8:22-24. "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?" This song is a lament to Creation itself, a dirge of moaning anguish, sung by a people who've long forgotten what peace looks like. Surely even The Lord Himself weeps at the state of thing. How could the world have fallen so far?
@@Necro17 Well that's a shame, and a massive disappointment, I thought it was made by YOUR hands and was actually made by a human, who had passion and soul in it. I don't have anything against you personally, nor do I hate you, I just hate AI.
I'm extremely dissapointed this is AI. Not that the music is great, it's generic. I'm more dissapointed that you took something made by people out of love and added on something generated by an algorithm that feeds and leeches from that. I don't like to hate but that sucks.

Listened to this alongside some medieval style hyms, trench warfare ambience and other World War ambiences, fucking perfect.

This is the perfect music for this sorta atmosphere. Grim, but slightly hopeful.
