Reminds me of another one which did it during a thunderstorm. I think a thunderstorm caused a blackout at a airport for 20 seconds as a plane was landing. Plane bounced as it could not see anything. Bounce caused the front wheel to wedge into the plane forcible bending the flight controls. This caused the plane to veer off the runway into a field. All while the airport was out of power for half a minute. Tower saw a plane landing and suddenly no plane. I think a few injured people walked to the airport and that's how they found the plane. Forgot which plane it was. So yes it is insane and requires a hard impact but planes can bounce but they usually get heavily damaged in the process

It was ultimately determined that the accident was caused by a tired pilot, the aircraft's elongated design , and adverse weather conditions ( Crosswind ). It was determined that a system be installed that tells the pilots if the plane has bounced on contact with the ground and the automatic speed regulation valves are deactivated
That had to be the best turbulent landing animation I have ever seen. Not to be rude, but no plane could ever do that, it looked like it was bouncing on the worlds largest trampoline. But good job on everything else ig.

this is a tiny bit inaccurate, they did the 3 bounces, but it didnt scrape across the ground when the wing struck, it struck and flipped when it was a bit of feet in the air.

Pilots had fatigue and after FedEx flight 14 they didn’t recover from the landing bounce (the bounce was caused by a high sink rate and it was windy)
