Iowa's defense is not going to get away with this kind of shit against B10 opponents
Iowa played another easy team. Lets see what happens when they play Ohio State
They play like that against Ohio state we’re going to have big problems
Look. We're going to have problems with OSU no matter what. We saw what Michigan and PSU were able to do to an objectively better defense last year.
@@1987dmiranda I agree and I'm a Iowa State Fan.
Why not? Do you watch any other teams play?
As a Cyclone fan I am SOOOOO glad Sullivan did NOT play against us. We can't defend running QB's and if Sullivan plays even just in the second half Iowa wins that game. Good thing Ferentz can't analyze matchups.
20:33 but that’s the thing, we’re telling the defense to create more turnovers because that’s something we lacked last year, but then simultaneously telling them not to give up big plays. From last week to this week, whoever it is giving up the play is always caught with their feet planted like they’re trying to intercept it, and that’s when they get beat. It’s either make a play on the ball or don’t give up the big play. We shouldn’t be emphasizing both imo
@@Jus-Too-Smoove Iowa's defense got burned on both those touchdowns. They weren't flat foot they got out right beat.Hall got burnt and then him and Shulties both got cooked on the second one. It's like they had no idea what they were doing
@@thomashahn6289 yea, because they’re being told not to give up the big play and also cause turnovers. Ross clearly hit TJ with a double and TJ bit trying to pick it and thats why he got beat. Ross was not flat out burning him
@@thomashahn6289 either way, it shouldn’t fucking happen two games in a row and 2 times in the same game. We don’t need turnovers, our offense is actually moving the football. We need to stop the big plays, cause Ohio State will orgasm if they know we’re getting beat over the top like this by cupcakes
Iowa suddenly seems overloaded in the WR/TE room...but the line can't give the QB enough time for the slow-developing scheme to develop
You people are nuts! What has every single Iowa fan said all off season. "If we could be just top 99 in offense we'd be happy." Well guess what dipwads we are and you're still not happy. Cade just completed 83% of his passes on 24 throws. We totaled 460 yards. The defense gave up 14 and special teams gave up 7. That's the problem.
@@landromania If we're 99 in offense and close to the bottom in defense we're F cked
@@thomashahn6289 we are actually way better on offense statistically than 99. I was just pointing out how people are still bitching about the offense when that's not the problem.
@@landromania my problem isn't with the offense it lyes with the defense. Two 60 + yard touchdowns is unexpectable. When the last time Iowa's defense has given even one of those plays up,let alone 2
@@thomashahn6289 agreed. Out of character.
Sullivan was in the whole last drive.
At least we can say Iowa can play from behind 😅
Giving up 21 to maybe the worst team in cfb is wild lol
Man, they look great. Finally a great OC and QB! 🎉
Iowa paid troy over 800k to look like shit🤣
it's a good time to get out of town. re-focus on the road, get the win and get to the bye.
One bad punt by a freshman punter doesn't amount to bad special teams. Maybe you guys don't watch any other games but big plays happen all the time.

Iowa by 3.5 over Sota is look ahead
