Beauty Salon Interior Design by Alex Kovatchev & IDEA

We merged the beautiful past and the elegant present to create this bright, spacious, and women’s classy interior of a Hairdressing Salon in the city of Ruse, Bulgaria.
In order to transform the spacious two-level premises into an elegant, comfortable place that has its own spirit and individuality, we relied on the light. We functionally combined the natural light from the large windows and the artificial one from the modern lighting tray to create a stage on which we unfolded the intriguing interior combination of stylish furniture with a clean shape and soft textures and metal discreetly corresponding to the commercial and industrial past of the city. The warmth of wood in the interior brought the feeling of coziness, and glass in its numerous shapes added airiness to the otherwise large elements of the interior, such as the staircase and reception area.
