I removed all the emblems and remove tail lights and headlights when it's a different color change... Since this one was matte black on black paint I didn't remove any of those items. It turned out great!

It really depends on the vehicle and the vinyl I'm using. On this one I think I did inlays on the front bumper around the fog lights area. I can't remember on this one to be sure
