I am writing to bring to your attention a serious matter regarding the Provisional Seniority List of Junior Engineers (JE) working at EMU Car Shed, Ghaziabad, within the Northern Railway Division. I kindly request your immediate attention to resolve this issue within 15 days, failing which, we may be compelled to seek legal recourse. We were recruited as Junior Engineers (JE) through the RRB/Chandigarh, and a panel of 44 Junior Engineers for EMU Car Shed, Ghaziabad, was constituted (ref. ii). Subsequently, we were appointed and joined as apprentice Junior Engineers (JE/EMU) at EMU Car Shed, Ghaziabad, Delhi Division, on the 17th of August 2020. Our training was successfully completed at IREEN, Nasik, and we finished our training period on the 16th of August 2021. It is crucial to mention that as per the reference (iii) provided in the subject, "Candidates who are sent for initial training to the training institute will rank in seniority in the relevant grade based on the order of merit obtained at the examination held at the end of the training period before being posted to a working post." The candidates of the panel passed exams at IREEN on the 19th of March 2021 and the 23rd of July 2021, in three batches for administrative reasons. To our surprise and dismay, our names in the seniority list mentioned in reference (i) do not align with the RRB panel's merit list and our grading at IREEN, Nasik. We believe that we should rightfully hold the senior-most positions based on the RRB panel's merit list and our superior performance at the training institute. We kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter to rectify the discrepancies in the seniority list and ensure that it accurately reflects the order of merit as per the RRB panel and IREEN grading. We trust that you will take prompt action to address this issue and provide a resolution within 15 days from the receipt of this letter. Failure to address this matter satisfactorily within the stipulated timeframe may leave us with no alternative but to pursue legal action to protect our rights and interests. We hope it does not come to that and that this matter can be resolved amicably. We look forward to a swift and just resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
