Nice to see my local trail given an honorable mention 👌 It really helps to put things into perspective on how it's ridden because I find it hard to gauge a trail purely on video evidence .
That said, this footage helped me realize just how good you are and that I'm definitely not going to get bored anytime soon. 😂
When I saw you just effortlessly float over that root on the uphill of 'Pines' my mouth dropped. 😆
On another note, I believe 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' is part of the 'Trail Hub' network, and not Durham Forest.
Just thought I'd put that out there in case anyone decides to start their ride from Durham Forest; because a separate trail pass will be required for access to what the Hub have to offer.
    Dagmar next? 😉
Thanks for sharing your time with us. 👍

If these are your local trails you are very lucky and with Dagmar, Walker Woods and Glen Major all so close by yes I agree - you are not going to get bored anytime soon!
That root is not that bad - just lift the front wheel over it and unweight the rear wheel then push the bike forward to lift the back wheel up and over - it is almost like riding up a big curb. I kept it in the video because Mike (the guy I was riding with) also has a hard time with it!
And you are right - I parked at Trail Hub specifically for the chance to ride Rock Paper Scissors since I had not ridden it before. Thankfully the trail pass and parking is the same price - but man that climb back to Trail Hub is tough!!

Thanks! If Durham is a trail system you ride regularly you are lucky to have that area close by! But I do hope that you get a chance to try some other trail systems on my list that you are not familiar with - that was part of my goal with this list - introduce trail systems to people that had not ridden them before.

I agree your hub whine is bad, I didn't subscribe because of it.

LOL - yes the I9 Hydra hubs are definitely have a distinct sound and perhaps are too noisy for TH-cam - but the sound has grown on me and I just like the hub engagement too much to try something different. Hopefully you still subscribe though!
