+IamTenzin You can follow him on Instagram at LightxReturn. He's part of a TLOK cosplay group with a few buddies of mine. Check them out! Their group is amazing.
+PaperArtWork I met Sneaky Zebra at WonderCon. He told me that he likes seeing other people making cosplay music videos. Guess there aren't that many of us. For me, it's the best way for people to see what goes on at conventions cosplay wise. A photo can only say so much. I'm still looking into upgrading my lens and learning new techniques with recording and angles. I'll get better soon!
Great tune & loving the costumes. The sound effects with the some of the cosplayers gave it a bit of character, but didn't intrude on the music like you see on some other videos posted on TH-cam. Only thing that really let the video down for me, was the shakiness of the camera as you guys were moving. I don't know if some sort of slider or camera rig would help with that to make movement smoother? Can't wait to see what you do next. Perhaps we'll see you at a convention in the UK some time? =-)
+The1GreenKnight Yeah, I'm just starting off. I need to practice using a camera stabilizer. Expensive though :[ I really hope I get the opportunity to go to London Super Comic Con in the future. I'm going to be shooting out more music video from the conventions that I attend this year. It's for practice and to get a general idea of what the public likes. Thanks for viewing!
Great shots and video. My guess is that 120frames per second will get you a much smoother pan with better focus. 240fps and then show in slow mo will definitely smith out your video and make it really cool. see if your camera has this speed capability. good job though
+caribousteaks I was actually learning about that. My camera is a Canon t3i and after research, it says that I need to install the Magic Lantern hack for it to achieve something like 120fps. Thanks for the info though! Hopefully I can get some new gear for upcoming videos.
Update! Thanks to you, I further pushed my learning of my camera and playing with FPS. I really improved the video quality of my latest video. We need more people like you to throw knowledge out to those who are learning. Cheers mate!
right on man, I am trying to learn video with my DSLR and computer. You are lightyears ahead of me. I do still fashion work www.agherrera.com, FB : Lightkraft Photography Images , so battle with that daily. Its not easy and I have a long way to go to get decent at it. Anyway keep putting out the good work and if you are ever in DC for anything let me know, would be great to hook up and shoot an event or something.
Gavin Luke - Glitz At The Ritz 1. It's in the description :] I'm glad you are showing a lot of interest in my video haha. Feel free to check out my latest CMV from Comikaze!
+meow!69 She's on my video cover :] That's my good friend Emily. You can find her instagram @Kawaii_Queentsun. She's awesome and a great cosplayer. Very friendly as well as gorgeous. Thanks for enjoying my video!
+Siluet Sore What's your set up? I have a Canon t3i with a kit lens. I just got myself a nifty-fifty. I am looking into getting some kind of stabilizer. How much was your SteadyCam?
i use canon 600d with standard lens, well, about $130, not the branded one and a bit hard to use but works fine, XD i'm from indonesia btw, still funding money for upgrade,,,XD
hi i'm new to editing videos and just started attending cons. i plan on making cmvs like you. i was wondering do you use/bring other equipment with you besides your camera, lens and editing programs?
Hello fellow videographer! I have upped my game a little bit since this video. When I made this video, I only brought with me 1 camera, 1 lens, 1 battery pack, and a very cheap gimble. With my newer video's I have been using a FlyCam Stabilizer, I have 3 lenses: my kit 18-55mm, the 50mm f/1.8, and my 11-18mm Wide Angle. I bring 2-3 Batteries, my charger just in case my packs fail on me. I also bring extra high grade SD cards. If you shooting at higher FPS, get an SD card that has a high writing speed; 80/mbps minimum. Let me know if there's any thing else you have questions about. :]
compleckz I KNOW!!! hahahah that is crazy how could that NOT be Johnny?? hahahahahaha the face!!!!!! maybe it was him! and he's blending in with the people.
Yeah, I thought he was roaming around WonderCon "incognito" as himself. The last person we would suspect him lol. I remember Hugh Jackman went around San Diego Comic Con as the cinematic Wolverine and he said that he overheard people criticizing him about being too big. Maybe that WAS Johnny Depp :O
+Vincent Nguyen Yeah, kind of haha. I was only supposed to do it once in my video but my buddies had some stupid looking mask with them so we added them in lol.
+Imukath I gotchu. Her Instagram account is AutumnSkyBeauty. She's a make-up artist. This was her first time cosplaying and she blew me away. You never get to see Silk in this outfit at conventions. Her TH-cam is in my description. She's really good at her craft. Go check her out!
Unfortunately, I do not know her name. We only spoke briefly, I was too busy running around trying to get footage for this video that we didn't get to talk long. If I ever do find out, I'll be sure to let you know.
NICE!
SHARKBROWS @ 00:28 - now that's dedication! Gotta love them TLOKers!

+MegaJetJaguar It was an amazing con! Come out to some in the future! There's a lot coming up this year!
